1. Hi All am on a bit of a fundraiser so am selling a few basses this one is a A Squier MB4 made in Indonesia in the 1990's some time so I am told and not the lesser re issue the bass is in just about pristine condition it is in a gorgeous gun metal/Pewter colour and it has all black hardware and is strung with a nice new set of Warwick red label strings the bass has just had new pots as the original ones were just about worn out and it has been modified to take Switchcraft type standard 1/4 sockets instead of the crappy barrel types the onlt thing worth mentioning is that at some point in the basses life it has had the control knob holes drilled out (maybe had a pre amp in?) and obviously the jack socket cavity has been widened none of this can be seen when the knobs are on and there is a nice black oval socket cover in place to the bass has the stock pups in and is really nice to play weighs around 7lbs is also fitted with black strap locks. Not many of these basses around any more and certainly not in this condition. I love these basses but have 3 more so some things must go. Any questions ask away No trades please and I can box up and deliver via tracked courier for FREE.
2. Hi All I have decided to sell most of my basses due to a fund raiser so no trades please Up for grabs is my Levin jazz bass I bought this off of a fellow basschatter about 3 months ago I am not really a Jazz bass guy but I have been really blown away by this it is just as good if not better than a lot of Fenders that I have played the bass has really great pickups they are pretty hot and tasty with a lush tone, when I got the bass it had stack knob controls and I really did not like them so the bass has been rewired VOL/VOL/TONE I have also put on a quality tort scratch plate and some new strings so is all ready for action I have also added a thumb rest. The bass is in really good condition and has a few lightish marks on the back from general playing but nothing nasty and they would not show up on the camera, not many of these kicking about any more I would like what I paid for this so it will be £160 plus post of £15 or you are more than welcome to collect if posted it will be sent via tracked courier in a hard case. Any questions ask away

5. Try an ABM adjustable but it is brass it needs no cutting of slots and is high quality look on Thomman lots of good info on there
6. Love Wilkinson hardware but think there pups are crap I love Entwhistle pups but I just wish they were more of a standard size as they are so big and wide I always end up either sanding out the pickguard or pup routes to make them fit which is a bit of a pain but they do sound nice I am using the non neos in my cheap jazz and they sound like a slightly hotter vintage pup to my ears
7. Bum rather fancy this but no dosh as usual lol

19. Have you tried a shim at the side to see if it helps I would think if the neck moves it can't do the intonation any good
20.
Bugger. For some reason Interparcel won't deliver my bass from UK Mainland to Northern Ireland. Don't know why. Any ideas, recommendations for a courier?
http://www.directcouriersolutions.co.uk/product.php?id=263 sent about 10 basses with these guys and been very happy and they will post to NI it costs an extra tenner though
21.
I never know what to play when trying out a bass, to the point where I have been known to write myself a list of bass lines to run through! But put me in a band and off I go. Does this ring any bells Mr Thunderbird!?
Sure does but some times I draw a total blank like I dont know one end of the bass from the other I just totally forget what to do I can sit on my own happily chipping away at bass lines and get them perfect funny old game innit Thanks for the kind words and support all
