  1. Same here, although my intonation isn't accurate 😅 I use Polytunes with the clip removed, stuck to the back of the headstock. Unitunes would have been better probably but they weren't released at the time. On my mini bass I use a polythene because it's half scale and can work better in guitar mode. It's actually stuck to the body on that bass (you can prob just spot it in avatar) So yes I like clip on tuners. The Poly/unitune is the only one (to my knowledge) that's 'flat' with the clip removed.
  2. Awesome
  3. Welcome to the site. Love those EBS combos. Hope you enjoy it here, get stuck in and have fun.
  4. Yes I see these now and again. I’m checking now. Normally they are server updates but we should be old about those ahead of time.
  5. It's easy to do... I'll see if we can make it clearer
  6. Ok sorted this one - Karl left the conversation/deleted the message thread but you replied to it after this so it didn’t arrive with him. If you look at the top it’ll say ‘1 member in this conversation’ Hope that helps
  7. @charic any ideas about this PM problem?
  8. Feeler gauges are the normal technique
  9. Hm not unless someone’s PMs are off. I’ll have a look at it tomorrow. Maybe the ‘send’ button was missed - is it in your sent items?
  10. Uh oh, the Sopranos are here!

    Good morning!

@orangefriday what number is your Arpege? Very early one isn't it? Welcome aboard! You'll fit right in. I'm a Vigier fan (two Arpege and a Passion). Would love to see pics of yours! Here's thread to check out. Get stuck in and enjoy! ped
  12. Can’t get the staff these days
  13. There’s something tactile about them. It feels like a complete instrument, whereas some jazz basses to me feel like parts screwed together. Hard to explain.
  14. Celinder are the best jazzes I’ve played. Haven’t ever owned a US jazz though. Had some nice Japanese ones (Bacchus, Bossa)
  15. See Charic’s reply above. It needs to be updated (by the developer) otherwise we can’t put it there.
  16. I'd strongly suggest you use a manual tool. You'll be able to 'feel' the adjustment and don't risk stripping the nut/bolt. Use the cordless job for putting up those shelves she keeps asking about.
  17. Hm how about a Roland Micro Bass Cube RX. Tiny, loud enough, and lasts ages in battery power too. Lots of music shops sell them so you can probably try one.
  18. Sounds cool, looking forward to seeing it take shape!
  19. Yep he cut them in half to remove them, too!
  20. I think they cancelled this amp, might be wrong though.
  21. Ok that might have done the trick... also I’ve set it so you can add a poll to an existing topic, so you can add it when the submissions are in next time (I think, will test tomorrow) Cheers ped
  22. Ok I’ll have a look and see if I can change the limit
  23. An ok it must be enabled for mods only at the moment. @charic can we turn it on? I couldn’t see the setting anywhere
  24. Lakota Leathers are the best IMO. The leather is super soft. Can be had via eBay for about £40 but they’ll last you a lifetime
  25. You've got ear defenders on in your avatar so you can't hear yourself. Very wise 😜
