I doubt with lead shot stuck in the fibre is tore up and will not pop back in it's original shape. Have a chat with a luthier about possible finishes, I think I read somewhere that once you go oil it is a b!tch to go back to paint later.

You can drill out the holes and bung them. I wouldn't change the rest honestly, just wax it it's cool.

(joking... a bit) I can't tell you what's best. It depends on just how fed up you are, whether the music can compensate for other things, and a million other factors only you can judge. [/quote] Agree with mcnach here, maybe meet with bandmembers outside of the band individualy, work on personal friendships? For the far away gig, is there any way you could help promote it? Send posters and flyers to all venues in that city for instance. The music, what I hear is the Cult meets Marilyn Manson. Try to describe boundaries for the genre you are aiming for, and work within those lines when it comes to wardrobe, videos (last one was good, the hips one not so much, the goth scene relatively has a lot of female followers) etc etc. Best of luck!

DS sell tickets good too, but tour much less, so are a more rare commodity. I'm not a fan of either band, but I think I could stay awake through an AC/DC show as opposed to a Dire Straights one, I'd be waiting for the elevator to arrive at the top floor.

For a proper cleaning I add a few drops of Dr.Duck's Axwax. Works great on body, hardware, strings, ebony or rosewood fingerboard, in fact everything except the stingray neck (gunstock oil/wax).

A soft lint free microfiber towel works well for me

Denon Heos and Sonos playbar get good reviews. I believe most brands carry them nowadays. I recommend one that doesn't need a separate subwoofer per sé

I am currently using the Engl 1030 rackhead. I've only had it a couple of months but I'm very VERY impressed so far. Defined sound, effective eq from thumpy via warm to aggressive. All features I need and then some.

The USA coke uses cornsyrup instead of sugar, there's a clear difference. That is all I got.

Peavey 410 tvx? Cab! I got it as an in between cab when I sold the awful and mushy ampeg 410, needed cash to order the 412 basstown I still use today. That peavey is massive and sounds tenfold it's price! I may not have switched to 12inchers had I played the peavey before. Having said that, the basstown 412. That's not going anywhere soon. Musicman SR5. Got a good deal secondhand when they were still cheaper. Nails the sound I was looking for.
