    Ink in the Well was my first exposure to DB too, always loved DT's sinuous growly bass line(s) on that song. Orpheus on a later DS album Secrets of the Beehive is also wonderful

    Adrian bought a rather marvellous archtop Takamine TB-10 bass from me and trusted me to hand over to a pal of his for transport up to the Lake District from London. Top guy. Enjoy!!!

    +1 to this suggestion. I have seen a ton of jazz bassists use MarkBass gear (eg, back line at the Jazz Cafe) and for trio/quartets this combo is very popular. Good with DB (use a preamp in front for impedance matching and feedback control) and for electric bass.
