1.
I think it might be the collection only bit that might put some people off. Look good though...GLWTS
Fair comment. I will look to see if I have a box in the next few days
2. Interested in a straight trade for my immaculate red PJB Briefcase? Long shot I know
3. Sh*t Mark, where's the root-5th and repeat? Or chugging on open strings. Now that's real bass playing. You are making most of us look bad (The bass sounds fab by the way)
4.
For Chris Horton........ OK, a hastily taken shot with my iphone, after work; '53 build; '82 JV; '60 P ;'66 Slab build '61 J '52 P; '58 P; '66 Slab; '68 Tele
Phwoooaaaarrrrrrr

6. ..also good if you need your home infested by woodworm
7. Cool, welcome to the forum. Lovely looking bass and good luck with the sale!
8. For the avoidance of doubt, there's another Czech based BCer Davidak who has bought and sold a few basses here. The gallery includes his name in the web link. Are you the same guy with a new BC username or are these his photos? http://basschat.co.uk/user/9037-davidak/ Or is it a complete coincidence? Just think people would want to know
9. Bump for a 99/100 condition, high quality ultra portable combo that can be carried on public transport etc

11. All the best from the Clarky household too. GWS Howard
12. Me too, it's a tasty bit of kit
13. Much redness, like Chiellini's shoulder
14.
I'm practically camped out
Oooh, get you!
15. I have had the same experience. My old 3/4 bass has more attack and seems slightly louder, based on a quick A/B with the old metal endpin. Can't say I notice any meaningful difference with my downsized Kolstein bass but with a much-reduced volume of air being moved I guess thats probably to be expected - solves the problem with this particular bass of the rattling endpin though! Another happy customer!
16. Cheers Barrie and a Monday morning bump from me
17. I have a set of virtually new Evah Pirazzi Weich E/A/D (couple of weeks old, home use only) and a well matched excellent condition Pirastro Oliv gut G (these are wrapped in metal so lower maintenance than plain gut and often seen as the 'king' gut Gs). New would cost £215 (Pirazzis £125 http://www.thestring...evah-pirazzi-3; Oliv c.£90 posted http://www.thomann.d...ass_g_saite.htm). Lovely dark/old school sounding set but I have a Velvet/gut set that I am going to stick with. £130 posted the set or £85 posted for the Evah E/A/D £50 posted for the Oliv G
18. Pics to show it is in immaculate condition still with no scuffs
19. Had this for sale before and withdrew it. still in excellent condition. Here is original FS thread which I seem unable to get unlocked http://basschat.co.u..._1#entry2404311
20. Julian is farmer61 on BC, different person but his MonkeyDolls band are also based in Swindon. Maybe JapanAxe is deppg for Julian?
21.
22. Shish kebab. Serial number 0008, Fender '52 P. I imagine BC's Rick would be up for that if he could sell a kidney ....
23. Its now sold pending payment. Sorry will update title
24. I haven't used one but I have heard (BCer stingray pete might be the source, not sure) they are fairly decent. Of course a BassMax or Realist would be better but also several times the cost
25. I would tend to dispute the "otherwise in excellent condition". The heel is sheared off, by the looks of the photo, and its impossible to tell whether this should be a bonfire or a fixer-upper
