1.
Do Yamaha BBs do anything for you? I'd say that's damn scrummy.
Yup, my BB2024x is getting a lot of gig time
2. I got these two items brand new a year ago as I was going to buy a Bergantino IPR powered cab. However, never got round to getting the cab and these have been stored in their boxes and used only once to check all was fine into my home multitrack recorder. Thought I strick these up on here. Both are high quality pro gear suitable for live and studio use. The first is a TD-100 tube instrument pre-amp - 1U (half width) rack. These are £395 new (which mine is practically) - selling for £225 (plus £10 postage). Full details here: http://www.summitaudio.com/td100.html The second is a TLA50 tube Leveller (compressor) - again 1U (half width) rack. SOLD http://www.summitaudio.com/tla50.html I also purchased the Summit 19" rack adaptor to mount these side by side (takes up 1U). I will throw this in free to anyone who buys the pair (cost £79). Some pictures:

12. So tempting..........
13. I wouldn't carry a Wal around in a cheap gig bag and would pay out for a Mono.
14. I feel the same about my '62 P Bass - I play other basses live now as I would be devastated if anything happened to it, and even had other old P Basses that just didn't compare. My '79 Stingray is a great bass as well, and really light in comparison to other 'Rays I've played. I also love my Warwick Thumb which seems to have that something that other Thumbs I've tried doesn't have.
15. The two I would look out for is a Moog Prod ogy or a Moog Phatty. They both get those classic synth low note sounds. As for amps, a bass rig (with tweeter) is a good as anything
16. The AC30 is one of those classic designs. I find it interesting that those making quality versions of that design are typically high end boutique, e.g. Matchless, Badcat....
