Got rid of my first actual bass without second thought, it was a cougar guitars p bass copy, it sounded like a plank and the pups overloaded if you played slap Don't think I could sell my first proper bass though, Ibanez btb 5, plays beautifully and looks amazing

I picked up an ibanez btb 5 string for around £200 if that doesn't breach regulations

I want to learn three fingers to play slayer stuff eventually. Thanks for all the input

I know the basic technique but I'm still pretty slow at it. Are there any songs I could learn or should I work on exercises for it? Any help is appreciated

I checked with another lead so the amp and cab are fine. One of the leads crackles. I did the usual of strip it back and re solder it to each end and now it gives no output at all

I do enjoy an evening at corp not gigged yet though so I can't say where I like to play

You need to get the best bass you can then amplify it later, I think mark king said that
