Hi all! It’s a long shot, but I am hoping someone here knows of a 1963-64 Precision veneer neck that was mated to a 1983 JV Precision body. Both refinished, the body from sunburst to Fiesta Red. Tort pickguard, non original. Supposedly it was done in the UK - the basscommunity in Holland is quite tight knit and I suspect here as well. I am interested in hearing if someone knows something! It would have been some years ago but combinations like this don’t show up that often… Fingers crossed.

Plus, there's a really bright pluck in the song somewhere. Doesn't sound fretless to me!

She's a beauty, RcknRoadie! And well, if it starts with a B (The S/N), its a 85-86. I didn't know these were made before the 90's! I always thought they started making these at the end of the 90's. Mine's a 94-95.

....And the Sandberg is gone. I put it on sale monday when coming back from school, and found out the local bass shop had a pre-owned Fender Marcus Miller Jazz IV for sale for €900. Went there the next day after school, played it, and fell in love. I asked if he was in for a trade (This is the same shop I bought the Sandberg at two months ago), and after some thinking he agreed. I was so happy, I was home in half the time I normally am, and went back with the Sandberg to finish the deal! It's a beast, a very special bass. In active mode, the fingerstyle is bassy and warm, and when you switch to slapping without fiddling with the EQ, the slap is perfect too. I like this thing!

Here's my only white bass. It's made out of a Fenix body, scratchplate, and bridge, a Allparts fretless neck with ebony fingerboard, J-sonic pickups, and the usual CTS/Orange drop electronics. I traded it for a H&S Sequoia 6 string, and I'm really happy with this. Just needs a good setup, which will be done by it's godfather.
