Hi I'm Evilc, a Baggies fan living in South London.
After a few decades of inactivity I found myself gagging for what inspired me. So I looked in the back of the closet and they were still there. I took them out and realised I needed to fix em' up before I could start playing again. That was in November 2011.
Since then I've come across this site upmteen times during research for basses and everything about them. This morning I was looking for info about The Bass Cellar after buying one of their Stingray basses on Gumtree. All Google leads led me here. I noted Mr Fudge's comments (Boing Boing) then spotted Evilc and Discreet's welcome to TwoToneTwist and thought 'yeah man, sign up'!
I was given a Epiphone P type bass as a teenager. Held a Tokai Rickenbacker copy for a while and a Fender neck with some strange copy body attached. I put it through a Carlsboro head and 4x12 with a simple compressor. Got rid of the lot before I was 21.
So along comes November 2011 and the bass list has materialised to these.
Aria Pro II XRB. (Metallic Dark Red body. Rosewood neck).
Aria Sinsonido Fretless AS690B/FL. (Dark Natural body. Rosewood neck).
Bass Cellar Stingray Bass. (Black body. Maple neck).
Cort GB65. (Light sunburst body. Rosewood neck).
Framus Star Bass 5/150. (Black Rose Finish body. Rosewood neck).*
Jim Harley Precision. (Black body. Maple neck).*
Rhino Precision. (Sunburst body. Maple neck).
Squier Jazz Bass. (Black Frank Bello Signature body. Rosewood neck).
Squier P Bass. (Black body. Rosewood neck).*
Vintage Stingray Bass EST96. (Sunburst body. Maple neck).
* denotes the ones I already had.
I won't keep them all, just my way of aiming for the ultimate 3 basses.
Musicman Stingray. Rickenbacker 4001. Fender Jazz.
Not asking for much huh?
I was raised playing both reggae and heavy rock!
Hope to glean more info regarding The Bass!
Evilc.
