1. Definately latish 66. I had a 66 with blocks. Steve
 2. Apologies for messing around with this but its back for sale. I was thinking of selling it and keeping my EBS rig but realistically I won't be using it and its too good a bit of kit to not be used. I am open to sensible offers on this as stated. The only negative thing about this combo is that the fan is relatively noisy, theres threads galore about this on talkbass and some people have replaced the fan but it doesn't bother me enough to mess with it. On the plus side its a LOUD 300w and has a great parametric EQ system and the walkabout head is easily removed from the 12" 4 ohm cabinet to be used with other cabs as desired. Would prefer trial and pick up on this rather than postage. I am in North Birmingham. Thanks Steve
 3. Hi Lee, No problems mate, thats the problem with internet forums and writing things down its easy to get the wrong of the stick. Hope you get a sale as they are cracking cabs and great value also. Steve
Hi steve Thanks for the reply, i totally misworded that ,it did sound like i was blaming you, and your right your s was a fantastic price someone did get a bargain, my apologies to you i didnt mean to cause offence, its the usual thing when you buy something new you can never expect to get anywhere near what you paid for it only what someones willing to pay. Once again my sincere apologies, ill think before i typoe next time. Lee, I wouldn't normally respond to this thread as what you sell a cab for is your business but I am the guy who recently sold the EBS cab. I don't want to derail your thread but you seem to be blaming me for the fact that EBS used prices aren't great. I bought my cab off eBay second hand 12 months ago for £350.00. I tried to sell it for the same price and had no interest. I then dropped the price to £320.00 and sold it quickly. There is one on eBay now with a start price of £350.00. Anyone with half a brain who sees your advert would check eBay so I don't think I am out of order by pointing this out. I feel that these cabs are worth a lot more and if yours is in exceptional condition you may get what you want for it and I hope you do but I certainly haven't set a precedent for giving EBS gear away. It is a great cab and I wish you all the best with your sale because someone will be very happy with it. Thanks Steve
4. A very pleasant way to spend a sunday afternoon :-) All of the gear on display was top notch but I was particularly impressed with the Bergy cabs, the Genz Benz head and also the Markbass F1. I had never seen a GB bass before and they seemed absolutely fantastic, BassFerrets fretless had some jaw dropping tones coming out of it through the various rig combinations that we tried. The EBS Gear also came out well in my opinion. I think when you get to this level of quality gear its not a case of something being better than something else its more down to what suits you personally. Steve
Someone recently sold an ebs cab for nothing recently and i feel hes set a precedant which is a shame as mines practically brand new and im not prepared to give it away as i need the cash to buy another accugroove (im using a tri110 its great) mind you your right neo is the way forward.
Lee, I wouldn't normally respond to this thread as what you sell a cab for is your business but I am the guy who recently sold the EBS cab. 6.
I'll have the Jazz
Yours for £6000 !! Steve
 7. Sorry Guys withdrawing this as I am selling something else.... Steve
 8. Looking to sell this as I have something new coming in :-) Will get pics up later but just seeing if any interest in this. Its a loud 300W into a 12" 4 ohm speaker. The walkabout head is easily removed from the combo and can be used as a head in its own right, it has a lovely tube preamp and parametric EQ system. It has been gigged and so is not immaculate. It comes with a canvas type cover that offers some protection. Very occasionally the fan is quite noisy when you first turn the amp on. Turning it off and on again seems to sort this and it has never been enough of an issue for me to have it checked out etc but best to mention here. I know that Flanker sold one here for £650 recently so I am looking for similar but am open to offers as it has done a few gigs!! Thanks Steve
 9. Bought an EBS NEO 1x10 off John and met in person. Lovely bloke and a pleasure to do business with! Steve
 10. Sold Richard an EBS 4x10 Proline cab. As Flanker says, a pleasure to deal with! Steve
 11.
I've also got the CD version of the bass trainer. It's a great practise aid and as perry says CDRs are so cheap, I just burn whatever I want to learn onto one. The big downside of the CD version though is that it eats batteries. I only get about 3 hours playing time out of a set of high capacity re-chargables and having to constantly take the batteries out and re-charge them is a real pain.
I have the CD version and its great, Regarding the batteries get yourself a power supply for about a tenner. One of those multi ended ones should work and you will save hassle in the long run. Steve
youre a madman for selling it at that i bought a new ebs classic 410 for 500, and this is the proline, which are like 750, am i right ? either way, im gutted i didnt see this before, hah.
Yea but to be honest I need the room in my garage so it had to go!! :-)
 14.
jesus christ that was a good deal lucky bastard whoever swiped it
Its strange I had it up at £350 for a while and not much interest. I lower the price and could have sold it a few times over! Steve

 17.
PM,d
Replied!!
 18. This is just sitting in the garage and is unlikely to be used. Price lowered to £320 collection only no offers. BARGAIN!! Its 4 ohms!
 19. One things for sure and thats that we won't all agree on a venue or a date so I think Ped should just book something and then worry about who can make it. I remember the thread on the South East bash that seemed to go on for about 6 months until everyone had agreed where and when :-) Just my opinion. Get it booked!! Steve
 20.
PM'd
And Replied!
 21. http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.p...7497&page=3 A lot of you may have seen this thread but starting on this page is where the shots are appearing. The F Bass jazzes look pretty cool IMO. Steve
 22.
HI Jamie, There is a bash being planned with Mike @ Bassdirect somewhere around Leamington Spa at the moment. I have however just asked for the contact details for the usual Northampton venue because it seemed a hit with everyone, so I will book it in due course for around March/April time to give everyone plenty of notice.... Does that sound OK with everyone? Cheers ped
Great News. I have only made the first ever one but will do my best to get to this one. March/April in Northampton is fine with me as its tried and tested! Steve
 23.
Yes Chris, for all the BC bashing that goes on at Finnbass, they always seem desperate to know what's going on over here, linking to various threads and whatnot, and keeping up with the gossip. I miss some of the old members like Thumper too, they were great contributers. It would be nice if the differences could be resolved.
+1
 24.
4 or 8 ohm?
Hi its 4 ohm just like this one http://www.ebs.bass.se/2007/ebs410.htm I will try and get some pics sorted soon. Its in pretty good nick but with a few scuff marks on feet etc as usually happens with cabs. Steve
