1. This is... immoral...! Kind of! Nice!
2. Start with knocking on them; if the box gives a hollow boomy sound, then it is not stiff enough. (Like EBS Classic 112, that acts like a cardboard box...) The only thing to do to cure that problem is to put "stiffening rods" inside the cab, from side to side, from bottom to top, from baffle to back, just like a forest of bass bars. Cheap cabs are cheap of a reason...
3. To quote Ritchie Blackmore: "We want everything louder than everything else." This setup is overkill. In every situation. Period. But it was nice to experience the shockwave... Other than that: it sounds very very good. Clean, full, articulated etc. (I won't use the word "transparent" since it would be silly.)

5. I just had to put them all up and let them stretch out for a while. Eden WT800B, 2x2126 and 2xH115 with a little help from their friend Steinie...
6. Once again:
7. ...or just get this rig: Easy storage too...
8. Personally, I always string thru body if possible. I feel the difference in my hands more than I hear it, though. Then there is said to be an issue with stringing flats thru body, that the "sharp bend" at the bridge will harm the windings of the strings. I have never encountered that, and considering the original electric bass, the old P-bass, had string thru body bridge and the only strings around were flats, well, there cannot be as much a problem as we may think. I use mostly Lakland basses, and all of them are strung thru body, even those with flats.
9.
...Option 3: Buy a nice pair of TKS 112's... Looks nice and lightweight, but by far the most expensive option. Around twice the price of the 2x112+11+ combination. ...
I really don't understand how TKS can be more expensive than EBS. Even the EBS 112 Classic, the Chinese low budget model, is more expensive than the smallest TKS 112 here in Sweden. Not to mention quite bad in comparison. The EBS Neo 112 is 4959 DKK in copenhagen (4Sound prices) and the TKS S112 around 2400 DKK here in Sweden. Add shipping and you'll be well under 3000 DKK. Here is a basement pic of my new old Eden WT800B and the two TKS H115 cabs of the new compact model... This is a very clean and powerful setup...
10. Whatever you do, don't buy the Diago patch cable kit! The tips of the tele plugs loosen with a great risk to getting stuck in your pedals. I bought two kits; at least 50% of the plugs were bad.

12. I bought a nice Eden WT800B from Ferenc, a really nice guy. I highly recommend doing business with him. Respect!
13. Well, I sold my chorus, phaser, flanger, delay and reverb and downsized the pedalboard. That's how good this thing is. A chorus that puts the 80's back in your tone, the Edge-delay, polyphonic octaver that TRACKS, nice reverb that doesn't sound like a steel spring or plate, etc, etc.
14. The headstock of my Steinberger bass...
15. Also a bass face... Jazz gig 2012...
16. If you like the tone, why not try to find a second hand active monitor that you can link your sound/tone to. They can often be found at bargain prices and are useful for other stuff too. My keyboard player has two JBL Eon's and a personal mixer for his keyboard set up as well as for his monitoring of the rest of the band...
17. I sold this beauty in December just to get money to buy a blue Lakland JO5: G&L JB made in USA. The new owner is more than happy...

20. I used to have following Eden cabs: 1xD410XLT 1xD410XST 4xD112XLT I sold them all. The last nail in the coffin was when I took two of my D112XLT's over to TKS workshop and side-by-side tested the TKS cabs against my Eden cabs. I was totally devastated. The D112XLT's were like a nail in the chest, a midrange honky horn with no bottom at all. At that time I used my Genz Benz ShuttleMax 12.0. With the Eden cabs I had to boost the bass with approx. 6 dB to get a decent tone. With the TKS cabs I had a marvellously thunderous but so clear tone with eq at noon. My present cabs are: 2xTKS 2126 (no tweeters) 2xTKS H115, one with tweeter, one without The setups I use are as follows: Genz Benz Streamliner 900 (w. one or two H115 or one 2126 cabs) 900W RMS at 4 ohms Euphonic Audio iAmp800 (w. one or two H115 or one or two 2126 cabs) 1000 W RMS at 2 ohms Eden Wt800B (w. one or two H115 or one or two 2126 cabs) 2x550 W RMS at 2 ohms / 1100 W RMS at 4 ohms bridged Eden Navigator and QSC PLX3402 (w. one or two H115 or one or two 2126 cabs, or all of them) 2 x 1700 W RMS at 2,7 ohms / 3400 W RMS bridged at 4 ohms (Yes - this is overkill, but oh, so nice...) Next cabs will be a pair of the smallest TKS 112 cabs...
21. I see this is an old thread, but I bought a master built Kremona this summer, an instrument originally built for a Danish bass player. (I got it in Copenhagen.) It is a somewhat odd custom built instrument with a 3/4 body and 4/4 scale. What made me buy this instrument? Well, it has a tone to die/kill for. Period. (It is a big bass; some 190 cm "from head to toe" with endpin retracted, and quite wide shouldered.) Due to the "massive size" it is a bit harder to play, but what you miss in speed you gain in tone. I equipped it with a Realist (under the foot copper) transducer and Evah Pirazzi Weich strings. This instrument is just some two and a half years old, but if it sounds this good now, well, how will it be when it has survived me...? I am no great upright player, my main instrument is electric bass, but I am more than okay on the instrument, I get well paid gigs anyway. There are better instruments around but I won't look for another. Don't have to. A really good instrument! Here are pictures from when I got it back home in July:

I just bought a beautiful blue Lakland JO5 from Ron. Swift, smooth action! Nice guy to deal with.
23. Sold a Stick to Lars (Minski). Swift and smooth affair!
24. I got a question from Minski if I had a feedback-page. Now I have one, Minski.
25.
A friend of mine in the states has recently had this custom blue bass made.
This should be illegal to post.
