1. good condition can get picture at some point but its spent all its time on my pedal board being well looked after andy
2. got this on a whim but have since found that i use the mesa boogie flux drive over this, so gonna give it a new home comes with adaptor so it can run of a boss style 9v adaptor looking for 40 quid posted, but would trade for a nice reverb or delay, can add money to make up the dif. andy
3. id say check out the markbass and aggie stuff! but the bass terror is awesome have heard the combos are very nice and the cabs can defiantly keep up! but im just putting up with the wait of my 410 cos it sounds amazing! andy
4. Mesa flux drive is probs worth a look
5. if you want the sound of a tube pre as is said above wnt really get it with the lm tube, nice amp but very similar. love my terror bass but if you like the cleaner sound of markbass im gonna say thats probs not for you.
6. just a bump to see if any peeps have one of these? andy
7. my newish orange rig in full use! andy
8. i use a mesa flux drive, really well built pedal with a really nice grind but never gives you to much gain! 149 new but for the quality of pedal you are getting! well worth checking out andy
9.
You have a Modulus! What a cool looking/sounding bass they are!
Yep its awesome!
10. Honestly no its not to big at all if you like the sound of them, id have an 810 if i could afford one. And i help my drummer in with the kit, and our guitarist in with there 412 they can give me a lift for 2mins to bring my cab in plus the peg 810's have wheels so really arent bad at all. And you can still be too loud with a 112. Go with what you want id either look at a 610hlf as loz says but its not the same sound as an 810 but really try one out.
11.
Get a proper cab not a smart power one.
id go for the 410 if your dropping down from the 810 or even try changing one thing at a time, just trade the head for a tb1000 then you only have the cabs weight to worry about
12. Secondhand i think is what he means dude, i managed toget my rig secondhand for under the price of a new orange 410
13. If you want to stay with the orange sound id go for the terror but they only still do the 212 sp now, never played through an sp maybe try and find an obc 410 not to big of an overall soundchange. Ive heard from ppl that the 212 sp is loud tho but there are also ppl who dislike them best thing to do is to trust your ears and gry and play one.
14. Nimbus always been curious about them
15.
Did a youtube search on the ad, found a shoot out between it and my current amp the terrorbass. Now I am gassing after one of these!
The ad200 is a bit more full sounding due to the power coming from tubes i suppose? They are awesome amps plus i just think they look about 100 times cooler than the svt.
16. Orange bass terror, either the 500 or 1000. There really loud you might need to retube the 500 to get a bit more clean headroom. But they sound awesome. Cab wise lightweight 410? The hartke hydrives are nice cabs, or maybe a gk neo 410? Someone will no doubt metion barefaced in a bit, but theres something about the precence of a 410 that i like. Andy
17.
Pleased to hear it, I've got two on the way!
you wnt be disappointed! andy
18.
I've just realised that the ampegs won't run at 8 ohms, which my cab is. It would involve changing my cab too does the ad200 run at 8? If I had to pick an example clean tone it would be like the intro to my friend of misery by metallica, dirty sound would be similar audioslave. I know both of these are svt 2 pro, so maybe that should tell me something!
yeh the ad will run at 8 ohms, and they really do sound awesome! try one out really nice heads. might have just been a an svt 2 rather than a pro 2 maybe? andy
19. the hartke hydrive 112 is an awesome cab! andy
20.
Get us some sound samples then!
will try need to find a mic from somewhere to do it! andy
21. played this thru my big orange rig! sounds awesome well worth checking out andy
22. id go for what lozz suggested get a nice 410 to go with the 210. its more speakers that you need not more power, but a 410 with pa support should be plenty enough for you to hear yourself on stage, are you stacking the cabs vertically? id atleast try your set up for one gig and see if it holds up you might be surprised, or is your rig struggling atm? andy
23. ive got the 1000 watt head and it sounds awesome! the only dif with mine will be clean headroom i guess they are silly loud, as long as you dnt go abusing the head ie use the selector switch for the ohms and dnt knock it around. the only thing ive heard is the bulb going which isnt a biggy they are awesome amps andy
24. Id love a go on one a b7k but the price is my only stumbling block atm! Naybe with my tax return? Andy
