im posting this after a recent deal went thru with loads of problems! it all started very well indeed, lots of contact and payment made quickly and delivery address sent. its from here that things went very wrong, Zach agreed to sent the amp (a terror bass 1000) with an next day courier before the bank holiday weekend. nothing ever showed up so i messaged him..... no reply i waited till after the weekend and nothing turned up in the following week. i messaged again but still had no reply it was at this point i noticed that the previous message had not been read yet. i heard nothing till the following monday when i was told that the courier had failed to show and would be sent asap on a next day delivery. another 3 days passed with no sign of my amp, at this point after an angry message that was again not read i did some investigating myself and found him on facebook through his band and to my shock found out that he was on a country wide tour! i wnt go on but when i finally received the amp about 4 and a half weeks after i paid for it, and apparently it had tried to be delivered 3 times.... i struggle to believe how you can miss a courier three times i understand if there are serious problems with family but atleast you let the buyer know. i really do want to say i never let my anger at the situation get the better of me but always firm but fair. but i would strongly advice against dealling with zach unless you are selling to him. one final note that when the amp turned up this is how it was packaged http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg72/0175westwood29/IMG_0810.jpg dnt think im alone when i say this is unexceptable!! andy

Have you tried the aguilar db750? Loads of weight behind each note! Loved mine was gutted i had to sell. All valve amp my fav is the orange ad200, and you could probs pic up 2 second hand for the price of the mesa. Andy

ive fallen in love with my terror bass but that def changes the sound of the bass! but might be worth trying to grab a markbass lm2/3 should be able to grab one on here for around 350ish there really good heads nice and powerfull for there 300w at 8 ohms and then put the rest towards a cab? or try and get a 112 markbass combo? andy

[/quote] Just put the tuner last in the chain, it wnt affect tuning, id just leave all as it is tho and go line out into the active input on the second combo

these are good cabs well built as is expected from hartke and they sound very nice. and if the speakon thing really concerns you buy them and change over the jacks to speakon but tbh there nout wrong with jacks! andy

getting a obc 410 in the next few weeks and am looking at getting a grill made with my bands logo on it. anyone know any sites or should i just get some mesh and make one myself? andy

just worked out an awesome deal for a 410 obc mint cab. and am looking at this as an option for making a 610 setup in a few months when the tax return happens. anyone seen these in person yet? andy

not the same amp or cabs but i used to have a 112/115 setup and it was really nice. i know ppl will come and say alot about mixing speakers but the best way is to trust your ears! andy
