1. I'm back to Ashdown after 10 years! Nothing elaborate. Just a little Mibass combo. Tiny footprint. Great sound for what it is and suits all my needs.
2. Trust me. You are ill.
3. As any BC'er knows. We buy ourselves presents, love them, think they are the bollo*ks and then sell them at a loss as we get GAS. Again!
4. Bargainous £200 the pair. Well used but work fine. Cosmetically well used. 175w each but very loud. JBL watts are loud. We used them as kick back monitors and they performed brilliantly. Equally as good FOH. Will trade for anything really. These are surplus since moving to in ears so open minded. May be able to courier, meet up or collection from Blackburn BB22SH.
5. Well used but work fine. 175w each but very loud. JBL watts are loud. We used them as kick back monitors and they performed brilliantly. Equally as good FOR. May be able to courier, meet up or collection from Blackburn BB22SH.
6. As above. Looks new and works perfectly. Was with my BG250 that I've just sold but the buyer didn't need it. I don't have the original box but will be well packaged. May PX or trade for closed back headphones, guitar emulator pedal. Can put pics up but looks like stock. Or collection from Bb22sh.
What are you selling and why is it to be confirmed when you know the value?
There are TBC basses. The Bass Company. If it is, the model number would help!
8. If Chavez had really ventured up Mount Vesuvius and held this under a lava flow, I would suspect that bits of Chavez would also be part of the finish! Maybe he needs to raise money for plastic surgery "Generally I ship within 24 hours but I often travel throughout the US to acquire the guitars". Personally I'd just chuck it in the Atlantic.
9. Just bought Mark's Ashdown. Great communications. It arrived superfast too. Mark's a great guy to deal with. Wouldn't hesitate to do so again. Thanks again Mark. Cheers Dunc
10.
Will you include postage? 😆
They can walk. Not far from Blackburn to Kent! Have a bump for a stunning instrument!
11. Thanks for the interest but decided to withdraw. Great bass and I think it should stay with me!
12. Sorry, removed as it really is a great guitar and would be a mistake to let go at this price.
13.
and?
Don't quite understand what the "and" is about?
14. Unfortunately no. We haven't recorded an actual gig (there's never been an oportunity where we have had enough time to set everything up properly) but we also use the desk for rehearsals, which is basically the same thing apart from in rehearsal we use an electronic kit. We have recorded rehearsals before into Logic and it has worked well. We do covers so I've never actually felt the need to save them! The next time we rehearse I'll record it, save it and post.
15. We use one live. Never had a real problem with the wireless as sometimes is claimed. It has gone off once but the sound carries on and any competent engineer can reconnect within seconds. Possibly a bit more difficult if a band member is mixing onstage but as said, the sound does not cut out and carries on. We can play live and record multi track into Logic with ease. Also, 6 individual monitor signals and 31 band graphic on everything. Our engineer is over the moon with it. It does everything we ask of it. The best bit of tackle we ever bought.
16.
I use Senheiser HD201's.....very decent price and good headphones.
Thanks for that. No-one could complain at that price!
17. Can anyone recommend some budget closed headphones for silent rehearsals? A couple of members will not use in ear. Weird ear canals apparently, although I suspect they are scared of the technology! I should imagine they would stretch to £50 each if shamed. Cheaper would be better though. Thanks in advance.
18. Was Paul Somonons 61st birthday on the 15th too! What a great recurring birthday gift!
19.
Open to offers
How about, my wife, 2 kids and a scruffy cat called Mufty?
20.
I've played one or two and they were not great.
I had one and although it played well enough after a setup, the tuners were always naff and it sounded a bit cheap. Tuners and pup replacement maybe but for the extra money, a CV would be more economical. Plus the CV build quality is far superior.
