1. BUMP Message me for a few more pics (gone over my monthly picture size limit)
2. Non-export Crafted in Japan 62 P Bass (made in 2004 I think) Bought almost a year ago from fellow BassChatter "itsmedunc" - Basswood body (lightweight and warm sounding) - Fast and slim neck (one of the nicest necks I've played, very comfortable, not a baseball-bat) - KioGon Wireless Harness (easy pickup changes) - Dimarzio Model P pickup (warm, punchy, good low-mids) - Dimarzio ClipLock strap (best locking strap on the planet, goes on everything I own) - Ritter padded gig-bag included Super duper versatile instrument and is currently strung with one-year-old Ernie Ball flats. I can string it with Roto' Roundwounds if you prefer and I'll keep my flats. Few knocks here and there that were present when I bought it (see pics) but nothing that affects the playability. I've used it in a singer/songwriter role so its been taken care of while I've had it. Only problem is the tone control doesn't work, and I think it might need a new capacitor to match the pickup or something, and I reckon its an easy enough fix (who uses the tone control anyway) I'm told it is a non-export model, so I think "itsmedunc" may have bought it direct from Japan or something. Trade offers are all welcome so don't be afraid to ask… Jazz basses will get preference though (money your way if needs be) Feel free to come and try it out, no obligation, and free tea/coffee!
3. That's tasty! Fancy a swap for any of my pedals? http://basschat.co.uk/topic/240429-pedals-for-sale/
4. Selling a few pedals that I'm not using very much these days. Prices are negotiable and I'll consider trades so don't be afraid to ask. 5. Yeah is this still for sale? I can collect whenever.
6. Trex Mudhoney with a ProCo Rat2 after it… Sweet baby Jesus!
7. Sweet Jazz! Been looking for a Japanese one for a while. Any trades?
8. I don't usually like pickup covers on Jazz Basses but they work really well in this case.
9. Straight swap 2011 US Standard P and a 2004 Japanese PB62?
10. TC Hall Of Fame has a nice modulated reverb sound. I think one of the EHX reverbs has a "Flerb" setting which is flanged reverb. Would sound a bit eerie.
11. Cali76 or Effectrode if you can afford. I'm currently using a Mooer Yellow Comp subtly for a bit of limiting. Takes off a little low end but still works nicely.
12. I'm currently using the MXR Bass Octave. Its great for traditional octave sounds and even synth sounds. I sometimes use it completely wet with no dry signal, some RAT distortion and a flanger or something to get gnarly funky synth sounds.
13. These days you can get pedals that model pretty much any effect or piece of gear you want, but I can't find a pedal that can emulate a bunch of different studio-style compressors like the 1176 or LA-2A. I know you can get pedals that are based on these comps (Effectrode PC-2A, Roger Mayer Limiter, Cali76) but they are a bit expensive and I'd rather get something can replicate all of them. So… does anything like that even exist? Could a digital unit truly replicate the responses/feels etc of these comps?
14. That Tall Font… Jeeeeeeeeezus!!!
15. I can't find any demo videos of the Bass Grunge pedal. If anyone here owns one would you be able to demo how it sounds.
16. I've got a bog standard ABM 2x10 and its pretty good. Can't see the Bentley ones sounding much different.
17. Someone buy this and get some tapewounds on it!!!
