1. Sounds great. I wish I could have got their in time to take part. Oh well! next time!
 2.
It works better when it's spelt right: http://www.yeshuamusic.co.uk/ Where it says that they sell HB instruments.
So It do! I notice they put 'HB' instead of Harley Benton so that people don't try and do their own price matching!
 3. Just bought a Roland Micro Cube Bass RX off Jamie. Top Bloke and sound as a pound.
 4. I clicked on his website and it appears to be 'down'... http://www.yeshusmusic.co.uk
 5.
I guess you should PM Lozz and Mick, JR, as I'm only the messenger, not the organiser
OK Thanks!
 6.
I have created a reference doc with a summary of the day, taken from Mick's posts, and uploaded to my public Dropbox folder. Anyone who's planning to attend, feel free to download, print, share etc https://dl.dropboxus...Bash%202014.pdf
Hi Bluejay - thanks for the PDF. I have a (very selfish) request. I won't be able to get there until about 1.30/1.45. Is there any chance of having the P-BAss test at 2/2.30pm so I can get there in time?! Thanks!
 7.
Hahahaaa...great bassface..WTF am I playing????
More like 'pokerface'!
 8. As above - if I made something that looked like that I would be well chuffed. But I would certainly have a crack at something as simple as making a better fitting control plate before trying to sell it on ebay for about 10 times what its worth.
 9. When I go to see small acoustic originals groups/bands, although I don't want the full story of a particular track, I sometimes like to hear what inspired them to write it. But it does tend to get on my wick when the front man/woman says at the end of a song introduction: "..and it goes something like this." or worse: "....it goes a-little something like this."
 10.
Oh, and he brings it all in a Fiat Punto
I feel his pain.
 11. Isn't the review the same guy who reviewed those HDMI Cables and said they affected the sound?
 12. Hi Richard, Welcome and I too look forward to seeing pics of your bass(es)!
 13.
Is it unprofessional for a guitarist to tune in between songs? I don't think so, but maybe your set is all worked out to flow seamlessly with no gaps?
Not as unprofessional as playing whole set out of tune! I normally check my tuning at the beginning, half way through the first set and at the beginning of the second set. But I would deffo rather check I am in tune to be safe than play out of tune!
 14.
New publicity poster. I'm the one with the bass
Has the drummer just set fire to your head with his sticks?! There is smoke coming from you and everything!
 15. Pentatonix - a 5 piece A cappella band who do things a little bit differently! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F80FsZDTgn0
 16.
Ultimately it doesn't really matter why you ... like the sound it produces, the most important thing is the joy you get and bring to others from the music you produce with it.
Bagpipes anyone!?
 17. If I was after a YOB bass... Hang on... does that mean I'm 'vintage' too?!
 18.
...there is only credit to the patients of those who have waited so long for these orders to materialise.
Are all the people waiting Doctors?
 19.
I've got a semi... Dean Stylist 'Cabbie' with Gretsch Blacktop filtertrons
Love the matching retro radio!
 20.
As you're in Hemel too were you planning on coming over with Lozz??
I'm actually in Chesham. But no-one knows where that is so I say 'High Wycombe/Hemel Hempstead area' so people know roughly where I'm from etc I have church in the morning and I can't skip it as I am playing bass that morning - hence why I don't think I will get there until 2pm. We finish about 12.30 and if I pack down straight away I should be out the door by 12.50 and it is about 40-50 mins drive to Hatfield. So I won't need to get a lift with Lozz as I suspect he will be going before me but if he needs a lift a might be able to squeeze him in depending on what he is planning to bring (I only got a silly little fiat punto).
 21. If I am bringing my P bass (my bitsa/self build) I assume that I will need to bring my own amp so people can try it out if they want? I also assume Lozz won't need to use my amp for the blind test part as the bass will be put through the same rig as everyone elses? These may be stupid questions but I never been to a meet before like..!
 22.
Rice / cat litter etc won't help the sugars in the beer. They are sticky. Then let it air dry with rice for a week.
Again, this is why you use the rice/cat litter to get rid of the liquid - then you are free to deal with the stickiness with nail polish remover and cotton buds.
