1. If I had £1700 this would be so sold. Superb basses.
2. I have a Lion Bar that was previously owned by Stuart Zender, do I hear £6k?
3. No one was criticising your "no posting" policy, merely pointing out that, buy offering shipping, you'll likely sell it a lot faster.
4. Clearing some things out so if anyone is after an original bass Pod, here's your chance. In perfect working condition & supplied with the original box & instructions. I'll also throw in a pair of AKG K99 phones wich retail for @ £65 I think. I don't have the driver disc that originally came with the pod but you can download this from Line6's webby free of charge. £85 delivered within the UK, happy to take cheque, PO or Paypal with no charge.
5.
the fretless is it six bolt on three or what ??
It'll be a 4 bolt.
6. £700 for that fretless is the steal of the century. If I hadnt bought a new aquarium last week it would be Teesside bound.
7. I kinda dig this; http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LAKLAND-BOB-GLAUB-P-...A1%7C240%3A1318
8.
This is definitely swamp ash - I purchased the bass direct from the EB factory on a trip to the US in '97 and hand picked it from several due to its light weight etc. The bass is on consignment at the Bass Gallery in Camden so can be tested there, but I'll get some pix up in the next 24 hours (gotta get to work right now).
Although the weight is an indicator it does not gaurantee the wood as swamp ash. Mother nature provides some heavy swamp ash & some very light sen & north american ash. What I was really hoping for was something from EB saying the bass was made of swamp ash, presumably as a one off? If you have something along those lines I think you may get trampled in the rush.
9. I love 'em all but this is very nice. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Wal-Bass-Guitar_W0QQ...A1%7C240%3A1318
10. Do you know for definate that this swamp ash? AFAIK, EB use non-specific ash. Pics and an idea of weight would be good.
11. Was just on my way to post this little gem. How much is wrong here? Logos & their placement Neck plate Sunbursting Tuners No CS case or cert Utter junk & the seller probably knows it.
12. Sold Now Folks. Here' a very nice Warwick Blue Cab 60.1 combo. 60 watts through a 12 inch speaker in a rear ported cab, 3 band eq, aux in, line out, headphone, send & return sockets. It's no Glockenklang but it does sound surprisingly good, nice full warm tone that is not easy to get from a smaller unit. Never been out the house, never been past 3 on the volume. £90 delivered to zone 1 UK or £75 collected from sunny Teesside, collection price includes tea & biscuits.
13.
Catalogue terms would be £7 a week for the next 150 weeks. Beautiful bass by the way.
Where I come from it's 10% deposit & the rest when they catch you.
14. Loving that Bacchus Dave but a new fish tank has taken all my cash.
15. Same here. Also the sunburst over the forearm countour is all black - indicative of a ply-wood body.
16. I'll have that bad boy, thanks very much!
17. As I understand, so you could lay it on its back on a hard surface without damaging the finish. A piss-poor solution to a non-existent problem.
18. Had a precison copy exactly like this, even down to the plastic button on the back of the body. Mine was a Kay & cost me £69 brand new in 1982.
19. That'll be Sir William of Sheehan's original squeeze.
20. Another thumbs up here, first class to deal with in every way, cheers Rich.
21. No problem at all Rich, an absolute pleasure to do business with you.
22. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Fender-Stu-Hamm-Urge...A1%7C240%3A1318 Over priced original Urge, they are not that rare or desirable. Also note in the conditions that he will not supply additional pictures, there's good customer service for you.
23. Sublime basses, bought one off Eubassix a few years back & should never have sold it.
24. I think the price is determined by demand more than supply in this case. Sabres were never as popular as 'rays so there are fewer people looking to buy one. If you can find someone looking for a Sabre I'm sure they will pay the asking price. If not though, a Stingray buyer would look to pay less than the asking price of a 'ray simply because they would prefer a 'ray. 'tis a superb example when all said & done & I wish you luck with the sale.
