    It's very tempting but I already have a fretless 4 'ray & I suspect Mrs Macko would prefer we "invested" in some decking.

    I never thought I'd see the day a 5 string 'ray wasn't moving at £600. I'm half tempted to buy it, stick under the bed & sell it in a couple of years when (hopefully) the market has picked up. You would only need to get £650 for it in 2013 to get a better return than sticking the money in a building society.

Just to be aware that I emailed the seller with some questions & he has replied to tell me the the neck had to be straightened by a luthier because the truss rod did not & still does not turn.

    Thanks for the interest folks, this is now sold pending the usual. Time to move my little Ampeg Micro VR & cab to pastures new. If you've looked round the interweb you'll know that these amps have reputation for producing an unholy amount of Ampeg tone & volume from a cute little package. You'll also know the reputation for the fan being loud, which is its only real downfall, that said, you won't hear it when you play. I bought this after seeing one being gigged (no, really), it sounded HUGE! Condition is excellent, never been out the house & I have all the original packing & instructions. £300 collected from Teesside or add @ £30 for shipping (I'll get it priced, two boxes though!)     What Chris_b said. The notion that the UK Border Force can be easily fooled is absurd, this is their job, they know all the cons. Items leaving the country are routinely photographed & documented to ensure the same item comes back with you, at Coventry an entire team open parcels every day, checking the contents match the declared value. You'll either get lucky or a criminal record.
