Here is my very lovely all original 50th Anniversary 1996 Fender Precision Lyte in immaculate condition. This bass is in Sunburst and and is like a time warp. The plastic coating is still on the rear cover and the gold paint on the pick ups is as fresh as when it left the Japanese factory, it has the original control knobs which are like hens teeth and it looks and plays like a dream. The bass as its name suggests is extremely light and it gives all the tone you could want, it can cover many styles and best of all it won't give you a back ache even if you play a 3 hour gig. To sum up, it is excellent and comes in an as new Fender Deluxe padded gig bag. This bass was made for the American market and I think would be quite hard to find in the UK, the neck plate is correctly marked Fender USA but it is of Japanese origin made for export. I am near Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire and you are more than welcome to come along and see it and give it a try out. I'll put the kettle on and get the biscuits out! I am happy to ship at the buyers expense if that is required. I have two excellent Jazz scratch plates. One is an Allparts 5 ply black one which is about 3 months old and hardly used. The other is off my 2008 Mex Jazz that was replaced early on with a tortie plate. I have lined the holes up and the black one fits my USA Jazz and the holes on the Mex match perfectly so I guess these will fit either USA or Mex. Please correct me if I have got this wrong but the holes do line up perfectly. I am happy to post at cost. Thanks for looking Mike(Pestie)
