Here is my very nice TC Electronics BH 210. I bought this off the forum and it has been excellent. It has mainly been used in the house although I did two festivals with it last summer and performed really well linked up to my Markbass head. The cab is 250 watts at 8 ohms. It has two 10" Custom Eminence drivers and a 1" Tweeter. It is stackable and has two Speakon connectors at the back enabling you to add to it. The sound is exceptional from this cab and I have loved it. It only weighs 19 kilo making it very easy to handle. This is quite large and I would prefer if it was collected from my house near Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire. I am also happy to travel a reasonable distance to deliver if that helps. Thank you for looking. I would like £150 for it please. This is my excellent Allen & Heath powered mixer. It has 8 mono mic/line channels and 2 dual stereo channels. This is a high quality piece of equipment that I bought off this forum. Unfortunately almost as soon as I bought it I became ill and it is too heavy for me so I went digital and now have a very light tablet based system. Everything worked when I bought it and it hasn't been used since. This is something that will need to be collected as it is quite heavy and I would think difficult to pack and post. I'm based near Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire for collection. I am happy to travel a reasonable distance if that is helpful. Thanks for looking. I would like £250 which is what I paid for it. Here is a very nice little project that I put together earlier this year. It is based on the following:

1990 fully loaded MIK Samick factory Precision body in lovely aged Olympic White
Kiogon wiring loom installed prior to me buying it.
Mighty Mite licensed Jazz neck (bought new)
Wilkinson Machine Heads (bought new)
Genuine Fender F neck plate (Bought new)
This bass is really nice the pickups are very powerful and it looks, plays and sounds lovely. It is light and well balanced and hangs on a strap really well. The neck fits in the pocket really nicely. The volume control had been wired to be fully on before I got it and it has stayed that way because that is how I like it. I made it because I wanted to try a Jazz neck on a Precision body, it works really well but I still have too many in the collection so it has to go. I am based near Chipping Norton and you are more than welcome to come along and try it and have a cuppa. Alternatively, I am happy to ship at the buyers expense. I would like £250 please, which is what it cost me. Sorry, no trades. Thanks for looking Mike (Pestie)

Here is my excellent 1991 Samick factory Precision bass in stunning black with Tortie scratch plate. It is all original except for a Kiogon wiring loom that was fitted before I bought it. It has Schaller licensed tuners and is just lovely. The figuring on the neck is absolutely gorgeous and it looks, plays and sounds really nice. There are a few marks on the body which don't show up in the photos but it is 25 years old! The frets are really good and there are no marks on the neck. It is an absolute gem but I can't move here for basses so it has to go in my latest cull. I live near Chipping Norton and you are more than welcome to come and try it and have a cuppa. Alternatively, I am more than happy to ship at the buyers expense. Thanks for looking. I would like £150 for it please. No trades thank you, I really have to have a clear out! Hello BC,ers I have an excellent 1982 1st series JV Precision. My problem is, the neck feels sticky and when things get warm I find it a bit difficult to play. Is there anything I can do about this? I don't want to sand the neck & oil it because that will take away something from the bass. Any Ideas? thanks Mike (Pestie)

Got this sorted in the end. I contacted Aguilar after a member suggested it. They are going to contact Spector to get the correct pick up size and they are going to send me replacement covers from USA. Thanks for all your help. Mike

Morning All I am having real problems trying to source a replacement neck pick up cover for my USA Spector Shorty no:#25. The official Spector information just says it is an Aguilar J. When I try to search this there are at least 4 different types to choose from and then only if I buy a complete pickup set. This seems a bit excessive since all I need is the plastic cover, the pickups work perfectly. I have tried Spector who passed me on to Bass Direct, neither were able to help. I then tried Barnes & Mullins the UK distributor for Aguilar who suggested a complete pick up set. I have also tried a generic cover off Ebay and the pole spacing wasn't the same. Any ideas or suggestions will be really appreciated. Thanks Mike (Pestie)

Hello Basschatters I bought my lovely Spector Shorty new just over a year ago but after about 6 months noticed a crack along the full length of the neck pick up cover. I'm trying to find a replacement plastic cover for it. It is a JJ configuration so has two Jazz style pickups. I have tried a Fender cover and that doesn't fit. I have also tried an ebay cover and that was almost there except a tiny difference in the pole piece widths, so now I don't know where to go next. However, I'm confident that one of you will know, so all help will be gratefully received. Thanks Mike (Pestie)
