Monday bump

Here is my absolutely excellent 1993 Precision Lyte in fantastic blue/black Foto flame Tiger Stripe. The bass was bought by a female bass player new in 1993, played a little and then stored in a hard case until I bought it about 6 months ago. It is immaculate with no cracking or crazing to the foto flame which can often happen to these basses. The Fender logo on the pick ups is as bright as when it left the factory as are the tops of the control knobs, machine heads etc. The only sign of age is slight tarnishing on the bridge and two of the saddles. I think it must have been played and put away without being cleaned off and this has caused the tarnish to appear over time. The bass looks, plays and sounds fantastic. I doubt you will find a better one anywhere. I have cleaned it and lemon oiled the board and it is ready to gig with. It is very light and extremely well balanced and is a delight to play. There is absolutely no fret wear and the neck is lovely fast and ding free. There are some tiny marks on the body but they are too small to photograph. It's a corker!!!!!!!!! Same old story, too many basses and I need to thin out before I buy any more. Your are more than welcome to come and try it and have a cuppa. I live near Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire. I would like £450 for it please and I am happy to courier at the buyers expense. Thanks for looking. This is a cracking bass. I have seen and played it and it is awesome,deep & smooth, I loved it , so if you are after an Epi T'Bird go and see it. Paul is an excellent Bcer so you can deal with him confidently. Mike (Pestie)

Here is my very nice Vintage bass bought off this site recently. It is lovely in vintage white and it plays and looks really nice. The hardware is rock solid Wilkinson and so is the pick up. The bass weighs about 9.5lbs which is 1.5 too heavy for me so it has to go. This is a really nice bass to use as a back up or if you just fancy a cheapy for a change. It has a couple of scuff marks that it came with and I think the previous owner thought they may have been caused by rubbing from a gig bag. I have shown the worst one which can't really be seen when you play and there is also a smaller one on top of the upper bout that only the player can see. They may be able to be removed with a bit if T Cut but I didn't want to try it. The bass has no fret wear or dings or knocks to the neck, it stays in tune and is pretty much unmarked apart from the black scuff marks already mentioned. I am based near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire if you fancy a try out and a cuppa. Here is my excellent Ibanez SR500 for sale at £275 shipped in a hard foam Kinsman case to protect it. This is a beautiful bass with some lovely figuring to the body of the guitar that I haven't seen before on a SR500. It is set up nice and low and plays really well. It is very well balanced on the strap, has a two octave neck and there is no fret ware. The neck is slim, fast and free of any dings or marks. This bass will play any genre of music and is a delight to play. You are more than welcome to come and give it any trial. I live near Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire. Thanks for looking.
