As an aside... An acronym is a word that has been made up from initials and other letters of words of a phrase, so AIDS, RoSPA, ROM, RAM, OPEC, NATO and WASP are all acronyms but TLA, SWF, GTFBI, HTML, RSPCA are initialisms. So next time you're on that awful training course in work and the trainer starts talking about all the "TLAs and other acronyms" you can tell the smug SOB that not only is he an obnoxious tosser, he is also WRONG.
