8.
it wasn't being used so it went to a new home.
yeah...mine great bass!
9. probably not that £600 is a bad pice, I know if I had that to spare I would willingly part with it for a V6. I think it is more the time of year and economic state at the moment, no one has that cash spend on a lovely valve head
10. just noticed you play blackened thrash- get a Fafner! simple and tube drive perfect for a metal tone plus the viking runes fit the black metal aesthetic. Fafner is what the bassist from In Flames uses, I know they are more Gothenburg than Black Thrash but it gives you the idea of a Fafner in a metal context.
11. I have a fafner and I love it! not gigged yet but at practice it wipes the floor with the Ampegs and Ashdowns the studio have, soooooooo loud, thick and punchy yet also clear and defined. If you get the cance to get a Fafner do it!
12. now that sounds like a plan coming together
13.
i'd love to but its quite a labour intensive process, like 20 to 30 hours depending on the build so i'd not be able to do it for that cheap but if people would be willing to be decently for the labour i'd love to!
hmm the idea of a valve head form you and a cab from alex...ultimate bass chat rig!
14. good age to be, appartently male sexual prime...so I am screwed in a couple of months
15. Sorry I am 19 so I assume that counts as young, dont be too jealous though I do lack bass talent unfortunately (hence punk band lol)
16. I am more comfy chugging away punk on the slightly thicker necked MTD, have used the Dingwall on and off at practice, we are yet to gig do I will see which I choose to take
17.
You've got an MTD?
only a Kingston Heir not a 'real' MTD, I reckoned that my 6 string Dingy was a little fancy for a punk band so I got a 5 string Heir
18. I am a student and I have solved those problems, girlfriend moves in: she removes the takeaway boxes and I get sex at home plus there is still an EBS head, an MTD and a Dingwall in my room... sex AND gear! sorted oh and I ride a unicorn
19. hmm tools I could aquire but I live in a third floor flat, not ideal for serious DIY lol. If I can ever find space to build one very very very tempted
20. not to shabby! wish I had the space and tools to do work like that, definately great value for money
21. nice, how much did that cost you all and all?
22. there were a couple of 105qs going second hand on here, I bought one but there was another going for £65ish. well worth it
23. hmmm awesome deal but think I will have to leave it. Dont think I'd be able to get it into my flat lol, to much of a weakling.
24. Is this cab actually liftable? Think it would give me a great sound but I am a little skinny (I weigh bout 115lbs) and do live in a third floor flat. How much would it be couriered to Glasgow?
