    Yup. The low mids and bottom end on these basses is just fabulous. And the neck profile/ string spacing makes them so playable. Owning and playing a GWB1 made me totally switch off from 35inch scale. The low B is knockout.

    Sunday is a good day for a really fine red jazz bass. This is a spectacular instrument and honestly top rank in the tone and playability stakes - I just can't justify keeping it at the moment.

    Ah, I love the smell of eighties graphite in the morning! As a schoolboy I used to head to Wapping on a Saturday and do the rounds of Wal -> Warwick - > JD -> Status through the Trace stacks and would always slip in a go on a Vigier. Really unique and beautifully crafted basses.
