These are absolutely stellar. Would be on this like a shot if I hadn't just bought a shiny starry night finished BB3000A which is quite simply top notch in every way. VERY well made instruments...
I had this happen sending a very precious transitional Steinberger XL2 to Sweden. The courier misread the house number on the package and handed it over to a different address at the other end of the same road. It was all OK in the end but there was a fair bit of nail biting involved. Hope it all sorts out...
Indeed, yes, no Rush. Although it's a real Countdown to that moment when I Turn The Pages. In the End, I hope my order didn't fall Between the Wheels and that I have to buy it on Kindle; I've never been a Digital Man.
Can thoroughly recommend Josh. Bought an absolutely fantastic Yamaha off him; comms great, accurate description, well packed bass. All in all a great seller.
Hello all
I have a couple of old six string sets of Elites 'Stadium Series' strings. Unused/new in slightly tatty boxes. They were acceptably fresh sounding when I last used a set.
They're stainless steel and I would call them medium lights at 25-40-60-80-100-125
Not sure what to price them at so I thought a trade for a couple of sets of 4 STRING nickel wounds in the vein of DR sunbeams or what have you could work?
Cheers, Nick
Here's my excellent De Gier Soulmate up for trade with a very specific thing; a Stingray Classic with a maple board on the lighter end of the weight spectrum.
I had a gorgeous 78 4001 that was lovely to play. It suffered from a mild lack of beef in the low end which was shame. Had another V63 that was a lot thumpier (esp with flats) but the neck was never happy.
I really like Rics but have yet to find the right one. The thing I found about them was that they make you play in a very different way. It's the subtly shorter scale length and the narrow/parallel feel to the neck which is so unusual. Someday I want to bring the right late 70s or early 80s jetglo 4001 into the fold or even a later V63.
Also, always played mine with a pick. They're just utterly cool instruments in my book.
