1. I used to have the combo version of this amp. I would whack the gain knob on full and do feedback solos that sounded like a 747 taking off. Fond memories!
2. Yup - If you have one, don't sell it. It will only get harder and harder to find another one!
3. Pleasure doing business and enjoy the cab!
4. sold
5. Liverpool Scene - Rad stuff!
6. Hi It's 300 watts at 8 Ohms, cheers, N

8. Cool, this and Darling Dear are my favourite Jamerson lines...
9. Bergantino bump mid week style...
10. Withdrawn
11. I have one of these. It's fantastic. Great price and pretty much impossible to get as they were a special run...
12. Something for the weekend bump
13. I've had two 75RIs in as many years (both with maple boards). Great basses but my stingray gets all the work. Must. Learn. To. Dial. In. Jazz. Basses.
14. That is an interesting vid as both basses seem to be 75RIs so the body wood (ash), bridge and pups/pots should be the same on both basses. It would be interesting to see the neck swapped between the bodies to control for the wood itself... Personally, I have always found a clear difference in tone between maple and rosewood boards as far as jazz basses and stingrays go.
15. That's very interesting - clover machine heads on a lefty late 70s precision?
16. Yup - slap cacophony keeps me away too Ed, which you will probably find surprising given how I used to play back in the day

18. Yep - I came up through Britpop and the level of obsession over the way The Beatles wrote, recorded and lived their lives through their many phases of evolution was something to witness.
19. Ha ha - ditto - in a service station on the way out of London in north Kent I was about to use the facilities when McCartney appears and asks if his wife (Heather) could use the bog as the ladies was bust. As any gentleman would, I let her use the cubicle then I went on to use the stand up facilities. McCartney went as well saying thank you very much for the help... There should be a thread on toilet conversations with bass legends...
20. Allo, I have a virtually unused axiom pro 49 midi controller that I would like to to swap for a straight synth. I bought it to use as a logic controller and soft synth tweaking platform but never really got round to using it. Right now I would rather a straight all in one synth that I can tweak in the keyboard. Any thoughts drop me a pm... Cheers, Nick
21. I love his playing on Rain - one of his first tracks cut with his Rickenbacker. Amazing sound. One of the most musical bass players... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VcsM4Ku9kKE And another vote for Silly Love Songs - more than a little Jamerson in there…Rickenbackers are totally different basses with flats on. Defined, tight low mids, a great sound... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwKUaYBUYNc
22. Top flight colour there old chap, have a bump...
23. Yup - it's the best production fretless out there in my opinion. Sounds amazing and is built for comfort and playability...
24. Cheers - it's a lovely bass...
