2. Taking offers now guys, could really do with this lot being shifted.
 3.
I made the move to an all tube head a while back, after playing EBS for several years, the tube sound is more suited to what I am doing! I have a great rig, but just after I changed, I saw this! From the EBS site..... The EBS Classic T90 All-Tube bass amp is developed by EBS and experts with more than 20 years experience from building exclusive tube amps for hi-fi and guitar. The result is a hand-built tube amp with special designed transformers and selected and matched tubes. Classic Tube Sound for Live and Studio The 90 tube-Watts makes the EBS Classic T90 a perfect amp for the studio, especially since it comes with a direct driven balanced tube output. The amp is also very well suited for use in live situations – and a perfect companion to the matching EBS ClassicLine cabinets. Carefully Designed The special designed transformers are overdimensioned and all materials carefully selected to perform at a maximum level - at all times. The tubes are quality selected and matched with precision, and burnt-in for 24 hours after mounted in the amp to reveal any quality issues in time. Features The amp has a separate input for active and passive instruments and a separate output for 4 Ohms and 8 Ohms speaker cabinets. The control panel has a classic style layout with controls for Volume, Bass, Treble and Presence. Technical Specifications Nominal Input Level -18dBv (passive), -8dBv (active) Input Impedance 1Mohms (passive), 100kohms (active) Tone Controls Bass +/-12dB @80Hz Treble +/-12dB @8kHz Prescence 0 - +12 dB @5kHz (pwr amp eq) Balanced Output Level -10dBv Power Output 90W RMS Tube Selection 2x 6550 power tubes 1x 7025 now noise selection 1x 12AT7, 2x 12AU7 Dimensions (WxHxD) 21,1”x10,5”x9,57” / 53,7x26,7x24,3 cm Weight 16,7 kg / 37 lbs. Not sure if they are in the UK yet as they are not listed on the EBS UK site yet! Thomann are listing it at £986 which seems good for what it is, plus EBS have a reputation for building great gear, I know this from personal experience Tony
I'm really hoping Bernie has one as bassday next month. Its in manchester so should give you an easy chance to try before you buy

 5.
I may be interested in this. I tried out a friends older yamaha trb II six string. I liked it but it was pretty heavy. Do you know the weight of this one ?
Sorry for the late reply mate, judging by my scales, i make it just over 10lbs.
 6.
I thinking about buying one of these cabs, does anyone have any experience with them? I play in a Metal band using a Warwick Corvette Std 5 through a TE GP12 SMX preamp and SWR 800 Power amp. Need to know if it will be loud enough, punch through the mix and handle the low B flat (we tune down half a step). Any advice would be great, Thanks.
Any 610 should be pushing enough air to punch through a mix in a live setting.
 7. Well as i said before i'm pretty sure its headroom. The less a system's power supply has to work at providing power to a certain component the better that component can do it's job.
 8. If anyone feels prices are too high please let me know via pm. These are fully professional cables that will last you years. All made by yours truly and are in great condition.
 9.
i have this in the amp section too however i may get a speedier responce here. As the title suggests folks. Just seeing if theres any cabs out there with 2ohm impedance?????????? If so, does anyone have one for sale???????
EBS do there big cabs in 2ohm to special order. They also do there smaller cabs in 8ohm to special order.

 11.
Your turnin' that round quick !
First 6 string mate, just not getting on with it. Just been re strung with DR Hi Beams. I'll get some recordings posted later but here's a vid for now.
 12. Hey guys, Recently got this in a trade with Shep (pantherairsoft) I'm only really looking to move it on as i'm not quite getting the 6 string thing. Open to anything interesting, 4 or 5 strings, Fretted or fretless, electric or upright.
 13. Ok, I'm moving to uni next weekend so want to get as much of this stuff shifted before i go. 17 Nuetrik D series Female XLR Chassis. £2 + pp (each) 9 Neutrik XLR ends. Male - Old style. £1.50 + pp (each) 4 Neutrik XLR ends. Male - XX series. £2 + pp (each) 2 Neutrik XLR ens. The flying faders stopped working acouple of years ago and i've just never got round to getting it repaired. I'm guessing there is just a faulty powerline somewhere but as i say, i really don't know whats up with it. I know guidelines say your ment to put a price on anything but i really am open to offers on this. £200 ono. I've not listed postage prices as obviously it'll change if your wanting to buy more than one thing. Check my feedback in my signature. Cheers guys, Jake Edit: Also if anyone wants the whole lot, pm me an offer. I can post it all in a cable trunk ready to go if you like. Just add £50 for the cable trunk.
 14.
The guy's plainly overplaying. All those "extra" notes don't really add anything. Listen to Paul Turner playing this number on the Live at Abbey Road session. Much nicer, cleaner playing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKZVNrC0QYA
Definitely overplaying on that. Theres no need for all those fills. Even if it was down in the mix, it takes away from the song.
 15.
No Jase, it wasn't available. I never thought I'd sell the Bassix, so I gave it to someone to move house with. But the packaging was the original double skinned box from my first EUB that came from Germany which was very substantial, plus lots of added material....... I can't help but feel sick every time I think about this. Never thought I'd feel this way about an instrument.
That's really bad news it was a fantastic bass and well played. Was a proper players bass!!
 16.
I think they must have dropped an SVT on the box, thats what did it!!!!
was the price to send it in the coffin to much??
 17. Pretty sure it's to do with headroom, as Vin can't exceed Vout. So with a 18v preamp, Vin is bigger thus Vout can be larger.
 18. From my experience & from talking to very experienced engineers & producers, if you can get something sounding good on ns10 it'll sound better on everything else but my god I wouldn't want to mix on them! The reason all studios have them is for this fact alone. Jake
 19. Can't remember if i ever posted this or not
 20. At pro audio we use k&m stands and they've lasted our hire department years of serious gigging?? Maybe something like this? 21.
Jake, Glad to hear that my old Epi cab is serving you well! Mark
Absolutely love it mate, thank you
 22. Is there any reason your wanting one, are you not happy with your tone??, are you wanting a different sound?? I think you've got to decide what your after in terms of sound before you just pick a random pedal.
 23.
I was just about to ask what the rh450 and ul210 was, then i read your sig... D'oh! Glad you had a good night. What was the gig?
It was an engagement party. 3 sets, from motown to smashmouth to take that to original stuff. It took everything i threw at it and sounded fantastic
