I have just picked up a custom world guitars maple fretless neck of these pages and am waiting on some more bits to complete the build. It was dumb luck I got it really cos I prefer rosewood!! Very keen to see how it sounds!

I think the real issue here is communication, or in this case, lack of. It's not really enough to take orders and let the customer work out what is happening... If they had been on the front foot and put a warning notice on the checkout page that due to Dahl strike there will be delays, you have the option to not place the order. Then once ordered they could send out an email with confirmation of order AND advice on delays and expected ETA, with a general update every 2-3 days. I work in sales, occasionally there are delays, but bad news is always better than NO news!

Anyone else find that they REALLY enjoy playing songs that they don't particularly enjoy listening to? There are a few artists that I don't particularly like to listen to, but as fear fun to play!

EB fivers have a 6 bolt neck, but it looks alright!!! I'd love to know what they play/sound like

Great article, I'm in a slump at the moment, and there are some great points in there I'll use. Focusing on a particular thing for only 20 mins is a good one, it's easy to get to involved in something and then the night is gone!

Not sure where your issue lies then, 'cos I'd say I'm rather heavy with the right hand. You could try playing g closer to the bridge, the strings will move about a little less there, but will sound more twangy.

I'm glad its not my technique. [/quote] I'd disagree, I play this in our set in a schecter pj with standard 105's. It's a little loose, but it's meant to be that way if you listen to the recording. If it's the o my song you play in that tuning, it may sound off to your ears, but I play a couple tuned to Db so I'm used to the feel. Is it possible you are being a touch to gentle with your right hand? My setup is the above with just the P pickup, tone full, gritty overdrive sansamp VT, and dig in!
