1. You should add a picture. If I was going to spend £100 I'd want to see the actual item!

TRaded.

Wow, that one is a real beauty!
3. Fascinating looking bass. I assume they are stickers rather than block inlays? They look a bit uneven.
4. That looks very nice. Too late to the party!
5. I love the colour of the body. Awesome! Not quite so keen on maple fretboards personally, but it's a lovely looking guitar.
6. I must be the only person who isn't really a fan! I was a MASSIVE Queen fan as a kid, and stayed so right up to the intro of synths (the game), where my interest started to wane. I wasn't aware of bass players much at all back then, and I don't recall ever really 'hearing' JD on a record before Another one bites the dust and Crazy little thing called love. Nothing wrong with him, but I have just never thought about his playing at all. Even now, those two are the only JD basslines that I have any recollection of at all. Suggest to me a couple of great JD basslines and I'll dig out my old vinyl and see what I think now that I have grown a pair of 'bass' ears in my old age.
7. Greetings and welcome to the forum!
8. Ha ha at the damp chipboard comment! Once you have read that it really does look that way! I'm sure it's amazing in real life.
9. I once bought a strat off eBay, had it sent to work, dismantled it completely during lunchbreak, smuggled the bits home and then announced that I was going to make up a guitar from spare bits & pieces that I had accumulated over the years. The plan worked.
10. Hi Iain Welcome to the forum! Some nice gear you have there.
11. Looks ace! (to use a term from 70s school) The only thing wrong with it is the fact that the bridge and pup covers look way cool, but tI just can't play with them on
12. Great band! 3 great individuals and for once a 'supergroup' has gelled brilliantly.
13. I've never dealt with GAK, but they used to get a lot of flak and it has stuck in my mind so I would probably think twice about them myself. I bought a cheap fretless from Thomann some years ago - no problems at all.
14. I'm not sure whether I'm more offended by the extra pups or the antigua finish. I have always HATED that finish!
15. Just looked it up on YouTube - looks fascinating! I can't throw that sort of money at it but in an ideal world I'd definitely love to get one. If I win the lottery I'll be back ...

TRADED

I love the look of the green one! A string too many and not enough frets (to the tune of about 22) for me though.
17.
I'm not too keen on 'advertising' it to anyone whilst I'm still thinking about it! I'm not saying that anyone else would want it, but it would be soooo annoying for someone else here to get it first!
Nooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It got sold Sandberg TM4HCA I was gonna take a long drive to check it out this week but couldn't get a day off work in the end.
18. Envy! I'm a massive fan of all things FD, and I love his banter when live. I'd dearly love to get to one of his house concerts
19. Showing my 'bass' ignorance here! In bass terms, Humbuckers vs single coil: what's the difference? Why would you pick one over the other? With guitars I've generally thought of them in terms of HBs for gain/distortion etc and SCs for clean, but the same thing doesn't really apply to bass. Also, it always seems a bit strange to me that on many basses there is a bridge HB, and then another HB right next to it. Why not have the second one up near the neck? Do they actually sound that different when so close to each other?
20.
>Reggie Hamilton Custom shop V I hope it is not sonic blue! Yikes! Super tasty!
Nah, sunburst.
21.
Fair play, but let us know in due course eh? For the record, I agree with hamfist; given the Squier is a cheapy, having both isn't terribly extravagant.
To be honest, the problem in our house is space. Between me and son no 1 we have around 6 basses, 10 electric guitars and 2 acoustics hidden about the place. Add to that my 2 keyboards, 4 amps, electronic drumkit and chapman stick. Mrs A is not happy at so much as the mention of another instrument!
