Guys...

Very nice looking, sounding and playing Jazz Bass put together by The Bass Doc

Details :

Mahogany Jazz Body with Spalted Maple Top in satin Finnish
Status Graphite Jazz Neck
MEC Pickups
Carvin Active / Passive 3 Band Circuit
Babicz Bridge
Copper shielded cavity

The bass is pretty light and balances well, action goes very low as you'd expect from a Status Neck, the instrument is very resonant and sounds more toward the vintage side than the ultra hifi you may expect from graphite. Sits very well in the mix, big tone ! The circuit is very usable and doesn't have any daft extreme sounds that you wouldn't use.

Only 'bad' bit is that the neck has previously had a different set of tuners fitted and the holes (although filled in with epoxy resin) are visible - see pic. A set of fender style tuners would sort this out nicely. In addition the previous owner fitted a string retainer with super glue (which has run a little too) and left a mark when removed - see pic. I was quoted £40 to re-finish the affected areas, I guess if you're a bit handy with the wet & dry you could do this yourself.

Priced to sell @ £350 and includes a Warwick Metal flight case

Collection or meet up preferred or can ship at cost.

All replied....

It's a smidge under 10lb but does feel lighter !

The bridge ain't feather weight !!

To the subject of trades.... Much prefer cash and it's priced to sell for cash

However.... May be corruptable !!

Would consider Aguilar TH500 or DB cabs

Basses, would have to be something that hit the spot as I'm trying to stay faithful to my custom Jazz
