1. Well ignoring the advice to stick with bf Cabs I've just found a good deal on a b stock OBT combo and before I knew it I'd bought it! I'll update on how it sounds with the the compact when it gets here next week.
2. Some interest at the moment but it's still available so back to the top.
3. Amp stand would be cheaper but it always sounds like I lose some tone when the cab isn't on the floor. Thanks for the comment frank. You are right it's an early gen 2 compact and I've heard good things about the midgit compact combination. This may sound stupid but what do you mean by "running out of steam". Cheers Steve
4. I currently really like my set up of obt head into bf compact but I'd like something taller to help me hear and also less bulky for rehearsals and space in the house. My current thought is to change the head for an obt combo and just use this for home/rehearsals and pair it with the compact for gigging. Has anyone tried this and do the 2 sound good together? My other thought is possibly a 2nd hand midgit but think this will cost more. Cheers Steve
5. bump
6. Still here. Trades and sensible offers welcome. Trades include Cabs Inc orange sp210/212 barefaced midgit or similar. I've also got GAS for a Jazz or try me with other stuff I can only say no!
7. Likewise. It'll sell have a bump.glwts
8. Good price for a good cab. I'd be tempted if you were closer. Good luck with the sale.
9. Thanks norm
10. Joe Tex style bump (sorry it's politically incorrect but it is funky) https://youtu.be/wG9z61JaAtE Still open to trades and sensible offers.
11. Hi do you have any more info eg. 4 or 8 ohm, wattage, dimensions and is postage and option. Cheers
12. Now £280 collected or £300 posted and that's taking food out of my kids mouth!
13. I had the head of this a while ago and it was a great sounding amp. Glwts
14. I joined a band this year which needed more bvs than I've done before. I've done a few in the past but have a tendency to sing a bit flat but have forced myself to really listen to myself and while it's painful at times my pitching has got much better.
15. That's a cool bass. Glwts
16. Back to the top
17. Bumping bump. Any trades? No love for a great looking individual P bass.
18. Sounds good hope it did well at the gig. Is it just battery or did it come with a power supply for the receiver? Cheers
19. If you want a unique p bass I'm selling this: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/270913-peavey-t20-1983-l300/page__pid__2899392#entry2899392 Which are pretty rare over here. You are more than welcome to try it if you are ever in the Bristol area.
20. Bump
21.
Yamaha instruments are very good. The only slight criticism I have is that my old BB1100s sounded a bit "clinical" but to many that`s probably a very good plus point.
I'd disagree. My bb1100s has a stonking tone and I wouldn't call it clinical. Id massively recommend one if you can find one.
22. Back up again
23. Great Cabs these at a bargain price. I used to have a couple and they sound great. Glwts
24. And up. How does £300 collected £320 posted sound? That is the lowest I will go.
25. Has anyone tried the Smooth Hound against the Sony system? They are the 2 I'm considering but most of the chat seems to be a comparison with the Line6. Cheers
