  13. Bump - for sensible offer and part trades. Also forgot to put I travel from Bristol to Bournemouth with work most weeks so happy to meet en route and also go further afield sometimes. Delivery in bristol/bath/west wilts area may also be possible.
  14. MTD CRB (Classic Rock Bass) 4 string bass for sale. A reluctant sale of a lovely bass but unfortunately some large bills are making me sell a few of my basses. If you are looking for a light weight P bass with a thin neck then this could be the one for you. Photos here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/emft703oleqxdii/AAAU7Ye-VVM4c6Si-rCmZMqMa?dl=0 Modern version of a Precision bass by MTD (Michael Tobias Design) in beautiful Trans black finish which I got in a trade about a year ago from Vmaxblues of this parish. Bass was ugraded when I got it with a Tonestyler tone circuit and Hipshot ultralite tuners including a d-tuner on the E which i believe was done by Bass Direct when the bass was bought new. These basses also come with a other nice features like MTDs asymetric neck which is beautiful to play, zero fret and quick release bridge. The neck has much more of a jazz profile than a normal P. Bass is also light at about just under 4kg. I've gigged it about 3 times and it has a tiny chip on the underside near the jack socket but otherwise is in excellent condition. A kinsman soft/hard case will also be included. Any trials welcome and I would much prefer cash on collection but I will post at the buyers cost and risk. I will also consider part ex including a Jazz bass like a Squier VM or a Sire V7 plus cash my way, 4 string fretted only. Any trades to be face to face please. Any questions please let me know.
  15. Do you know if this Is the one that fits yamaha BBs? Cheers Steve
  16. Bargain. Ive had a quick noodle on this and it was lovely. Shame i have no money or nothing to trade. GLWTS
  17. I love my bb1100s. Just glad i have no money otherwise id be tempted to get a 2nd one as this is lush. Youd pay 3 times this for the equivilant era bass with an F on the head and it wont sound as good. Got to tell myself - i dont need a sunburst one! GLWTS
  18. My brother has one of these without the bigsby and its trumped his les paul amd melody maker with lollar p90s as his main gigging guitar. Great sounding guitar. GLWTS
  19. Sorry i wont be able to join you all now. Have a great day!

  21. Another bump needs to go so make me an offer for parts or whole.
  22. I was at the fleece too. All 4 guys are Amazing musicians. Drummer blew me away as much as both bass players.
  23. Vinyl Generation are looking for a new bass player as I am having to step down due to work priorities getting in the way of stuff. 5 piece band 2xGuitars, bass, drums and singer playing rock and pop covers in pubs and a few functions around Bristol. All good musicians and the singer is very entertaining (headstands, singing on bus shelters etc.) with the aim of play a quality set and having fun. We have gigs booked until the end of year and a lot of repeat bookings. We also have pa, lights, banners etc. Usual aim is about 2 gigs and 2 rehearsals a month. One of the guitarists asked me to say they have great personalities and wear clean pants to gigs. Own gear and transport will be essential and along with the usual sense of humour and ability to be more dedicated than I can at the moment. Some BVs will be required. Drop me a pm if you are interested or want any more info. We are playing at the Crown in Saltford on Saturday 2nd July if you want to come and see. Also it is with regret I'm leaving but I'm not in a mad rush and happy to help with any hand over. Cheers Steve
