1. Is there still time to photograph yourself mooning and leave a copy at the site where they stashed the cabs?
2.
Mrs GibsonBass supports what I do but isn't particularly interested. It's just not her thing. She comes to the occasional gig if possible and I'm cool with that; there's little point in her coming to see something that she doesn't enjoy. I can count on one hand the amount of times she has come to either a band or a solo gig. It suits me because I kind of feel responsible for her when I'd rather concentrate on what I'm doing than making sure she's ok.
My wife is the same and my attitude to her being there is like yours. I've no specific objection, but would rather concentrate on my gig.
3.
25,000 topics and we still don't know what bass is best for metal!?!
Thank God. If we did get a definitive answer, what would we do then?
4. All the best for a good recovery and damn your eyes for giving me rhythmstick to learn!
5. His sweet, falsetto singing is also very beautiful. I saw him with Zawinul Syndicate and it brought me close to tears.
6. Hiya, check out this link to Eventim, there's a picture. It looks to be an open air on a BIG market square. http://www.ticketcorner.ch/Tickets.html?affiliate=TCS&doc=artistPages/tickets&action=tickets&fun=artist&key=1750759$8827511&language=en Herren Acker (an acker usually refers to a field, probably a reference to it's past when it was still a market town and this was where all trading was done). Have fun, P. It looks like it's all standing.
7.
i was noodling on a Hagstrom Swede.....
Is that some sort of euphemism?
8. Bump for a fun thing and some nice playing.
9.
Guitar solo? Gilmour on "Another Brick in the Wall."
Oh yes, a very good call.
10. For a straight up memorable pop solo that you can sing along to, this has to get a mention http://youtu.be/aQUlA8Hcv4s
11. Nope, just say posted image.
12. Still definitely no trades?
13. Good on you mate.
14. I agree. I know a very good rock singer who's stage presence was very poor. He spent a couple of months videoing himself and gradually making adjustments. After about 6 months he had really turned things around. If you look like a rock god, ou might just start feeling like one, or at least enough so to pull it off.
15.
Agreed, Smiling ( which I struggle with ) and good eye contact with the audience is key. Blue
I suffer from this. What I thought my 'normal' neutral expression to be is, in fact, a right miserable mug. I find trying to smile very arkward but ultimately better than looking p1$$ed off.
16.
Too young, I suppose.
17.
Weekend World....Nantucket Sleigh Ride by Mountain (starts at 2:27) https://m.youtube.co...h?v=qip4aQLc7L0
Now there's an absolute corker that I haven't heard in about 30 years.
18. That's great. It's like going into a pub and asking for "a pint of beer, please."
19. I once worked in a show where the dancers were hired from the States. One was inflicted with the, in my opinion, incredibly vile name of Wealthy.
20. Ooooh, that creamy off-white. Discreet would have a fit.
21.
Would rather put my head up an elephant than listen to that talentless twat

Move over; I'll be joining you.
Now, now boys, let's not be making this a matter for the RSPCA.
22. @PawelG, thanks for that, now it's in my HEAD!
23. Aaaaaaarghhhh, don't they look lovely! Congratualtions and best wishes for the future.
24. I had tennis elbow problems some years ago. It lasted over 6 months and threatened to stop me playing altogether, which, being as I do it for a living, caused me a lot of worry at the time. After 4 months of combined physiotherapy, stimulation current therapy and massaging with an ice cube (v. painful that last one) making matters worse, I got a cortizone shot which only helped temporarily. The problem soon came back and I was very worried. Then I tried homeopathy. I can't remember the substance used, but symptoms were 80% gone within a matter of days. I know many people are skeptical of homeopathy, myself included, but on this occasion it worked for me. Either way, good luck with your recovery. I had a milder recurrence about 3 years ago and a good osteopath was able to help me using manipulation to free up blockages in my joints.
25. There was a thread on them here not so long ago http://basschat.co.uk/topic/299177-anderson-paak/page__fromsearch__1 http://youtu.be/ferZnZ0_rSM
