  1. That, Chris, is a whole lot of bass for the money. I doubt it's going to hang around long. GLWTS.
  2. Speaking of artists, I hear Tony Hart has died. ☹️
  3. You could probably still take out a private prosecution against that teacher you know. (Just sayin')
  4. Yes indeed. Same button-position as found on a Gibson Ripper.
  5. Well, both Orville and Leo have been potted for decades, so I don't think it's them.
  6. Something like myself 🤣
  7. Fully get where you're coming from Tony. The world is your oxter now - take it easy, and hopefully we shall converse again. Best wishes now and for whatever your future holds. S.
  8. Wherever s/he is in Europe, there must be something akin to Trading Standards to whom you can appeal?
  9. Yes indeed, but not before a refund is given. I wouldn't trust the bar-steward to lacquer my plectrum (if I had one).
  10. I feel genuinely angry on your behalf. Really hope it works out for you. Unless you specifically ordered a bass to look used, (and your post suggests not), this would be a 'comedy bass', if it weren't so serious a problem. A disgrace and an insult to all the makers out there, struggling to produce the best possible.
  11. Drop an e-mail off to Overwater and Chris should reply. Good luck - a fine instrument.
  12. The Gibson RD 2018 Matching pair and one of each colour made - one being black.
  13. Evening Big Boy.
  14. I though these were new AI-generated parking attendants being unboxed.
  15. Bass is located in Queen Street, Edinburgh, should anyone have that amount in their small-change piggy-bank, btw.
  16. Went for a wander up-town today and spotted this beastie in a pawn shop window. Amazing what's out there if you search. It's up for £6,500 btw, and no, it's nothing to do with me or anyone I know either.
  17. Excellent. Very best of luck with the sale. Out of interest, what are they?
  18. Agree wholeheartedly.
  19. Have posted about this a while ago, but following on from Rich, I thought I'd re-state my first Wal cost £50 (fifty), in 1989, and, no, it wasn't stolen.
  20. These Elite fivers are tremendous - better than the current Ultra in my opinion. Lovely colour as well. GLWTS
