    Okay - fair enough, my apologies. Not too sure about the "mexican roadsweepers" comment, I imagine they're full-time Fender workers, but point taken. Good luck with the sale, looks like a super bass. But, a la Dragon's Den - I'm out!

    Still no word. Sent an email last week. Hopefully it's been sprayed. We are now just about seven months in. So much for the 12 week wait, eh?

    Yeah, I guess all the great luthiers started somewhere, and probably made a few lemons here and there. Did he ever manage to sell it on eBay? I find it amazing that he is dedicated enough to build a 13 string bass from scratch but doesnt own an amp - and can't even borrow one. Strange!

    Bump for a great kit. I have the same one, and use it a lot. I run my ipod through it so I can jam with all my music - you only need a minijack-minijack. All highly customisable, midi compatible - nice piece of kit! And also cheaper than I paid for mine, boo !
