Looking great Pete. Can't wait to see this one finished. Did you make the decision re. LED colour? Mine are going to be blue, but violet certainly sounded interesting. I'm still having communications difficulty with Jon. I seem to get through on the phone 1 time out of each 10 calls, and am getting no response over email. I'm aware he's had trouble though, of course, just recently, with the weather. Itching for pics though. Regards Mike

I enjoyed the gig too. Very tight, as always. I've got to say, Ready Freddie is a great bassist, but for some reason he doesn't do too much for me. During the encore I went down to the front to get some photos, and apologised to some guy for pushing in front to get a pic of Donald - turned to him to say "thanks" and it was only SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY!! I stayed with him to the end, we were both dancing and jiving, he was clapping his hands and singing, loving it! I was going to see if I could grab a picture with him afterwards but a guy he was with whisked him away pretty much as SD played the last chord. Great stuff!

I'm seriously considering some of these for my 1975 Jazz. Can someone explain or discuss the differences between the overwounds and the 64s? Thanks so much! Mike

Hi all Thought this might be of interest to Shuker fans. Just spoke to Jon (regarding a bass he's building for me) and a river that burst it's banks flows right past the workshop - and yesterday, flowed THROUGH the workshop. Luckily Jon anticipated this and moved all equipment necessary so minimal damage, I believe. Phew!
