1. Ah ha, I like this CD. I've just sightread the piece whilst having it on - a lot of fun, and some interesting and unexpected parts that threw me a little. Thanks for sharing, really good of you. Much appreciated!
2. Thanks Bilbo! Really helpful for the beginner Jazzers here!
3. Anyone else aggravated by poor selling technique? Seems to be rife in BC at the moment.
4. Dieseonze, what about a Lakland JO Jazz w/ Jretro?
5. Cheers buddy. Offered the 68 Jazz but no luck!
6. I'm really interested but with the exchange rate the way it is, I can't do it!
7. Certainly very important to me, lozbass. I suspect as the price was given in USD $, It's in the USA. Not certain though, of course.
8.
So the following week I spent £2.5K at The Bass Merchant .
Couldn't agree more. It's fairly local to me - about 35mins drive - and anytime I need anything, I go straight there.
9. Try this! http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=_evMBRIm2rY&...re=channel_page
10.
Seems a tad strange to say you're sorry you don't speak French when you replied in French.
A valid point, but I wasn't sure how to say "Sorry for my limited, clumsy French".
11. Guys, Five Seasons is one of the best albums EVER! INCREDIBLE playing and writing!
12. Hey Garry! Sorry - looks like I missed a PM - sorry about that! Let me know if it doesn't sell. Mike
13.
I'd be sorely tempted if it wasn't a 35"er and I wasn't expecting another bass from Jon soon.
Exactly the same position. About to pick up my 33" 5string!
14. Don't suppose you have a Rick 4001 C64 McCartney, do you?
15. Christ, Rich! What a shame! Let me say I've played this bass and it is magnificent! Man, I'd love to have it, Rich. But I'm picking up a Shuker 5 this week! I have got a 5 string available to trade - it's an Elrick designed Cort, 35" scale, and the best fiver I've had! It's made in the same factory as the Skylines, I'm led to believe. Man. Sad times.
16. I borrowed the Greatest Hits (including recent numbers like Don't Give Hate a Chance and Runaway) book from our local library, with all the correct basslines written out in notation. Fantastic stuff.
17. The Bass Cellar ad....MISSPELLED AGAIN.....Aaargh!
18. Good to see you back. Hope thinsg are going okay.
19. Hi Garry. I'll have this - where are you in Essex?
20. Sam Yahel trio.......?
21. About 42 cats, provided they're equipped with maps!
22. I would be interested in a P pickguard for my Lakland Duck Dunn. What colours would you be offering?
23. I'm about to watch this video now, but Dave Marks is doing great educational videos for new or experienced players wishing to go pro. Thanks Dave - it really has only occured to me in the last year that people like Dave don't have to do all this educational stuff - but they're making the world a better place by doing it.
24. "Heaven on their Minds" is another great bass tune from JCS.
