I had the Ampeg PF500 and loved it I now have the Rootmaster 500 EVO II and love it just as much. If you're in Kent you're welcome to come and try it

note selection isnt the problem here, it's chords. I thought I would be able to just see it, but I need a book to tell me the chords. Also, I stopped playing the violin at 13. I got my mandolin when I was 47. A long time had passed but I still kmow the notes etc
-
I need to dust mine off too. Spent 7 years on the violin, then switched to bass and guitar. Mandolin came about 7 years ago, i thought I would be able to work it out but couldn't. Time to have another go methinks

yep, not often I get to the end of these videos but I enjoyed it. They all sounded very P like to me. I think my favourite was #3. Nice one

my wife and I talk about this all the time. Who's rock n roll and why are they rock n roll. If your persona in a band roll is rock n roll but you decide to be polite and well mannered off stage, go and do the shopping etc, are you still rock n roll? answers on a post card to the usual address and we won't be able to returm your paintings..........................

I loved it. It really helped me whilst I was learning different stuff. I particularly enjoyed the reggae episode

Funny isn't it. I've never had speaker lead problems 😅I used a speakon. I thought I should use them because it was the new 'norm' I thought I had bought Neutrik (I usually buy Neutrik stuff) but I'm not even sure where they are now, so checking could be difficult
-
I had similar problems with my ampeg PF500 and Mark bass cabs, so I just reverted to using jack to jack. Maybe I'll look at my speakon cables to see what they are. What exactly is the advantage of speakon?

I recently sold a fretless version like this (natural and F/less) and my wife has a R/W board white one. Awesome basses

I sold a custom shop flying V on ebay to a guy with no feedback. So before I accepted his offer I checked with him. It was Ben Grandfeld from Wishbone Ash. Last year I moved house and a chap with long hair, well spoken, Italian wife came to view. Oh you're a musician he says. We chatted a bit and I said what sort of stuff do you play then, Well, he said, I was in Jethro Tull for 10 years, did a stint with Take That and was with Gary Moore for the last 10 or so years. Jonathan Noyce. Lovely bloke but didn't buy the house -
Just sold my Bravewood 'Sting' bass to David. A super easy transaction, great comms, fast payment. I can highly recommend him as a top bloke thanks David martin

I bought this last year, for a function band that I was fronting. Used it on 3 gigs, played 4 songs per gig, so hardly used at all These were made in Mexico in 2019 and are very hard to find. I bought it 2nd hand from a shop, it is very well set up and as far as i can see, immaculate I love the hockey stick headstock and the pickups. It sounds awesome through my AC30. The band folded, as the BL decided to move on and I didn't want the responsibility of organising it, so it's time to move it on Collection prefered or could meet half way etc

So here is my Ibanez for sale. It's been well gigged long before I purchased it. I bought this from Mr Bravewood himself, John Elliot. He, like me, is a massive Sting fan. John replaced the tuners for grovers. All actives work well. Mwah to die for. Here's some pics. More to be added later. Collection from Dover or we could meet maybe

t So having hung up my Sting boots I have decided to start letting all these fine basses go to pastures new. I bought this about 15 years ago IIRC. It has done a lot of gigs and shows some wear, although very little on the maple board as it did most gigs with flats. I've cleaned it up a bit, hardware was a little tarnished but it's looking good. All original but missing one knob. I have a spare that I an put on it that is the same (I think) Ash body and weighs 10.2 pounds on the bathroom scales. 10 pounds and 2 ounces any questions please ask collection only but could meet up if not madly too far
