Bitcrushers that don’t crush your low end or your wallet?
lee650 replied to basexperience's topic in Effects
I think this falls into the "it will crush your wallet" territory 😂 Looks ace though 😁 -
Still sorting through all my old stuff lying about and found this. I used to use nothing but monster cable back in the day,And bought a few when i was working n the ships from New York. Over the years I've sold them off, when I bought even posher cables 😂 how ever I found this wounded soldier. I think this ended up trapped by a stool leg while I was playing ballroom. And was damaged,so is intermittent. I always meant to get it fixed, but didn't get around to it, hence it being forgotten. It's approx 3m and was quite expensive, I'm sure anyone who knows what they are doing with cable could fix it and Maybe have a slightly shorter premium cable (the break isn't far off one end, Soho doubt much would needs to be cut away) Or a skipping rope, worth a punt nonetheless 😁 £12 including UK only postage NOTE- Got the whole cable at 350cm (3.5m tip to tip likely 3m of cable) measured in front of indentation (assuming this is the issue and not just a dodgy connection, may just need rewiring) it's 130 cm (1.3 m) to lose so about 2.2 m.

Having a big change around and can't keep my basses on a wall anymore🙁 My loss is your gain! Your perfect lockdown project,to turn your beautiful instruments, into functional works of Art. Let's not forget it also guards against toddlers covering them in stickers (happened to my vintage jazz😂) or your cat "making it theirs"😻) So I have 4x wall hangers, featuring the innovative Hercules grab system. In reasonable good condition, however sone of he screws were damaged when removing (so much for my dreams of dentistry) so I've included sone suitable replacements (No raw plugs though) Sold

I had a diamond for a while! Very very subtle compression, but added a lovely fatness to the tone, which has become a benchmark in compression for me (I prefer to use them as a tone enhancer, rather than dynamic control). I sold the Diamond on thinking i wanted something with more versatility (got an MXR and instantly hated it 😂) but the Diamond just did something to my other pedals, which I've since missed. I have the Cali76CB which gives me a nice combination of great tone and intuitive/easy control, which is why I wasn't sure about selling to get an FEA, I'd love to try them together. I'd entertain a Diamond again too and the smaller Empress looks fantastic.

A chap on Facebook recently sold a standard big box for over £400 and I thought that was crazy money (even though if I had it, I'd pay it 😂) Seems itcwas a bargain. I'll stick with my Cali76 CB

I remember the source audio Manta did a nice envelope phaser in the same vein. That same sound will probably be available on the SA Spectrum/C4 as well as loads of other stuff.

For sale Leo Quan Badass 2 bridge in chrome. Sadly discontinued, these are the classic upgrade to jazz and precision basses. In immaculate and as new condition, with the grooved saddles,so no need to file down. Unfortunately i dont have the screws for this. I've a new vintage bridge coming sometime next week, when I'll be able to remove this for postage 😁 Withdrawn for now

My 3 leaf Wonderlove which was the successor to the GR2 is from the Fromel Etched limited first run in a very funky purple/blue (No 177, from the days when 3 leaf pedals were individual works of functional art, rather than the standard look they have today) It features controls for Sensitivity, Attack, Decay, Tone, Blend, Resonance, and Boost controls for dialing in your sound while also including more general switches for Range (high/low), Sweep (normal/reverse), and Band (lowpass/bandpass). Other features include an expression pedal input, an effects loop, a soft-touch relay bypass, and a selectable true/buffered bypass that’s accessible via an internal switch, a 6db boost is Also available on a side mounted switch. The effects loop is particularly useful in that you can put other effects like octave/fuzz in the loop and they will be placed after the units envelope detector. This means the pedals dynamics are not killed by these effects, making very dynamic moog/synthy sounds possible. By plugging in an expression pedal this can be used as a manual wah. This pedal has been a favourite for a long time, and I'm sure I'll regret this. It has some scrapes on the sides, probably from other pedals, but the etching gives it a roadworn look Anyway. Comes with very high quality Velcro for your convenience. Sold!!
