shame i fancied these myself, ive gone back to hi beams from sunbeams, i dont like the feel of steel but i like the zippy sound, the fatbeams are great too, but i got some hi beams in a deal and they work very well with my smith!!

Id love to try a NT smith, this could be the one to make me want a six, its even got nice knobs retrofitted, the original ones dont do justice to stupidly expensive basses,(will change mine as soon as i can ) this is the bargain of the week by a long way, just stunning!!!! oh and your right the B string is fantastic!! better than the yamaha and warwick 5,s ive owned previously!!!

youve got to tell us who got it i actually learned something from this sale, i actually thought someof foderas designs were taken from ken smith, i do think now thats probably not the case, mind you the emporer design is very reminiscent of spector and the fender jazz IMO, which is why i bloody love it!!!! congratulations to the new owner a true beauty!!!

oh wow, thats one spectacular looking bass, and must say with the dovetail neck and the inlays it does look very fodera esqe!!! half the price of a used monarch and probably just as good IMO!!! im a big fan of smiths and i dearly love mine, whoever gets this will be one happy bunny- big bump!!!

This rigs a bargain, ive tried most rigs (yet to try the bergantino IP though) and nothing comes close to the EBS IMO fantastic gear, bump!!!
