1. Absolute bargain! I have one AE 112 paired with my IP and its phenomenal. Great cabs -have a bump
2. I've got one of these (same colour too) and it is amazing, I will keep it as long as I live 😆 would love this too!
3. I'd imagine the Ashdown octave is a similar circuit, however I found the Aguilar octamiser did the thickening sound very well (as well as many other fantastic tones). My fave is still the OC2 though 😆
4. Thanks for the info, it may well be shukers own. id very much like this but I doubt id move my spector in time
5. I very much doubt you will get a bass this good for the same money 😉
6. I wish it had a maple board 😃
7. wow this is very tempting, is it an east preamp as the knobs look the same?, may need to move my spector just looked this up on the shuker website, but it has a nice tort guard, is it the same bass?
8. I always thought this was a clean boost/eq! I didn't realise you could add a touch of drive/grit to the signal. I'm assuming the mini version is the same? I want somthing to add a little grit to my P bass, this is on my gas list now 😃

12. I would l I ke this, however a bit out of my price range at the mo. would be ideal for warming up my P bass
13. That's an absolute beauty, have a bump

19. Just to say i have 1 of these AE 112's wth my IP 112 and the tone is just amazing. Crystal clear but goes nice and deep as well. If I ever move my IP on ill be looking for another AE cab as they weigh nothing
20. Currently Gassing for a Sadowsky MV5 ash/maple 70's action and an NS 5 string EUB. not going to happen for a while
21.

I love it!!! the Sh*t posing as meat drive! RRP £250
22. Still got your old one Frank Took it on tour last year and it sounded fantastic in the big concert halls, these are seriously good basses that seem to command very little money compared to the new price/quality of instrument. You really will not get a bass as good as this for £800!! Have a bump
23.
I have both on my pedal board, and the Beta is a different animal. The Beta is fat, warm, punchy tube drive that sits nicely in the mix. I use it as an always-on pedal. It's quality, and kind of gives that 'tone' you search for, being a P player. The EHX is a great overdrive. The level of grit is just right- it must be the blend control- but you don't lose your place in the mix, as so many pedals seem to do, with the character and tone of the drive being what cuts through. I hate pedals which make you disappear, and you can't hear the drive, or are too top-endy so all you hear is the drive and no fundamental. Highly recommended, and for £60? Crazy.
Cheers mate, I think ill hang on for a used Beta as it sounds just what I want for warming my P bass (sorry to go OT)
