Well i sent the strings back special delivery with a polite note. Lets see where that gets me.

I have me a BB5000 Which is pretty much the top dog in the BB series. One of the first commercially viable 5 strings and used by many session players in the 80s (Nathan east anyone?) Its gorgeous Its really punchy and growly. Due to it being one of the first 5 strings the string spacing is quite tight but pretty slappable! Overall it matches and surpasses the quality i have seen on the musicmans i have had in my hands recently. Mine has the original case and Fender 18Volt pre-amp, Its all good

I better get my money refunded or it'll be small claims court for me! Sounds a bit cynical but the way companies have been treating me recently i dont underestimate!

I pulled out, I just rang reverb to say to cancel my order. All the guy took was my order number and said it would be sorted today. Seemed all too easy:P!

WTH! I just got the strings from my mailbox, And they are all Nickel?! I ordered stainless steel!

This was all done over the phone, I tried emailing but never got a response.

Pretty unhappy here. I ordered 3 sets of custom bass strings from overwater months ago. Before it had taken a couple of weeks maximum, I was waiting 3 months before i rang them to ask what happened to my order. The guy was like "Youve waited months?! Crap i'll check into it". I waited a few days then rang back, Apparantly the order had never been made, So they resubmitted the order. Anyway another month later and i have just been charged 132 quid!? I rang them and they said that i ordered 6 sets of strings. I never did i only ordered three, And maybe there was a duplication because the original 3 sets never got ordered. Apparantly no, I have to order 6 sets to get custom bass strings now. Well why didnt they tell me that when i requested 3 sets BOTH times? I am right on my overdraft limit and i am set to go over it in the next week. Thanks very much overwater. Merry christmas. -Rob. Well i just rang them, There was only one White musicman at that price. He cant tell me who got it as the orders havent been sorted and it wont be sorted til after christmas. Considering how long it took me and budget to get an order through i doubt either of us have got it.

Well the listings finally been taken off the website for the SR5 now so we'll see what happens.

Well i ordered mine at 8:30 about 2 hours after the email was sent out, will i be one of the lucky ones ? Now if the buggers are going to go to administration i will be very angry If i do get it and dont like it at least a profit will be made !

Well. 72 hours after selling my red SR5, I am now expecting a nice new white SR5 through my door soon
