Agreed the standard Spector gig bags are a poor choice for these basses. I’ve seen the pics of the damaged white one, that’s not due to the bag in that case I’m my view. A correctly shaped Spector gig bag wouldn’t have helped.

As does a Mono M80.

Found the photos. Not sure why the design change on the truss rod. From memory, I think the truss rod end at the hell is a T section rather than a straight bar so it no longer slides in and out.

Yeah, that's a good workaround mate. I did similar when having wrist issues, you can double the wristband over for more support too.

Fender Japan Jazz 1995/1996 - £699 Shipped Mainland UK. Numerous dings and dents - please see photos. Added string retainer - easily removable if you so wish. E string, tuning peg the elephant ear is a little bent, still operates fine though. Bridge swapped to a Wilkinson bridge - I do still have the original through the saddles are seized up from corrosion A great playing and sounding Japanese jazz with plenty of original wear.

They are OK. Sold me a bass that was massivley mis described but we eventually came to an agreement on it.

Having crossed swords with BD and Marcus before it's clearly legitimate-they see things as never them at fault.

Awful shop and awful post, sharing the poor internal workings at BD and pointing the finger at Mark. It may well be the case but sharing the info publically is poor form. Reduces confidence for me not increase it.

Genz Benz NEOX-210T. £350 collected Chorley, Lancs or can ship at cost. Good condition - all works as it should. Cab has had a matching replacement speaker in its life - still sounds fantastic. Some minor signs of wear on the carpeting and some scuffs on the corner protectors, so please do not expect pristine. The Genz Benz NEOX-210T bass enclosure is designed around 2 ultralight, cast-frame 10" neodymium loudspeakers. These drivers deliver exceptional power-to-weight performance, enhanced tone, and frequency response. The bass speaker's lightweight design, Edge-Lift handles, and tiltback casters make traveling a breeze. GNX 10250 Neodymium Loudspeaker The NEOX-210T's redesigned 10" neodymium cast-frame speaker uses a 2" voice coil. The motor structure is designed around a 7 oz. neodymium magnet with exceptional heat management characteristics. Through Finite Element Analysis the weight of the driver has been significantly reduced and the optimized magnetic circuit delivers a more efficient high-output response.
