  1. Just sold my bass to Jon. Top man who paid straight away and kept in contact. What a great basschatter. Cheers.
  2. I think so as well. 😎 It really is a super bass.
  3. Tom1946, the weight was bothering me as it just doesn’t feel heavy. Anyway I have weighed on kitchen digital scales and these come in at 4.35kg. Specs says 4kg. I have amended previous posts. The good news is that my bathroom scales are obviously out so I have not put on as much lockdown weigh as I thought 😁 Paddy
  4. 4.35kg on my digital kitchen scales. Feels lovely and balanced. I have added the specs to advert and the weight on advert says 4kg.

  6. John helped me out with a stacked jazz loom. Thanks for the advice!
  7. Alain, what a star you are. SansAmp got to me super quick and was packaged well. Thanks.
  8. I used a iRig with AmpliTube app. Cheap, although there might be better options available.
  9. Good - I had trouble with my old Terror and contacted Orange who promptly suggested what the issue could be. I sent the amp and this was fixed very quickly at minimum cost.
  10. Just bought a pedal and pedal board from Christian. Packaged well, great condition and excellent comms. Deal with confidence Basschat crew.

  13. This was staring at me on FB buy/sell and now it’s tormenting me here!
  14. I’ve made my own small boards using Lego. Base board cut to size and jazzed up with coloured tiles around the edge. Granted I do have 2 small boys with heaps of spare Lego.
  15. Loved mine when I was playing upright! glwts
  16. The uprights like these and might be worth posting in ‘DB buy and sale’.
  17. Thanks for all your thoughts. I had band practice last night and started with the Terror eq and then onto effects whilst fiddling as much as I could. The effects are def cutting through more and I will get used to a new clean sound. Only one of the two guitarist made last night so next week will be the real test. Paddy.
  18. I briefly used a Little Bear BS1 and just bought a Cusack Screamer Fuzz.
  19. Stew - congrats on both counts. Treat yourself to a Shapla top of Norton high st!
  20. Thanks all - lots of good suggestions. I will apply some of these next week at band practice. I am very happy with how my tone without pedals but some of our songs would be enhanced by a bit of something different. Paddy.
  21. Sterling stingray - Terror - Barefaced Compact
  22. I’m fairly new to playing with pedals in a band setting. My pedals sound great when setting up solo but seem to get lost in the band. Any advice and tips for getting the fuzz and distortion to cut through the mix? Paddy.
  23. Just received effects pedal. Great comms and arrived super quick. Thanks.
