[/quote] I had similar issues when ordering a Moses jazz neck. Three shipments missed. Moses were apparently to blame because they might have been moving premises around then (according to Steve Moses) and when the neck finally did arrive, All-parts gave me a free t-shirt by way of apology. It may well be that they get dicked about by US distributors because they're not a big enough client to be a priority if stock is a bit thin on the ground.

I'm a complete noob when it comes to Smart phones. I had one of the XDA Execs when they came out originally but my current mobile is 6 years old and thats how I prefer it at the moment. No GPS. What would the best Basschat app help people do?

It might be a lose connection between the power socket and the PCB. The pedals are renowned for this. For a while Akai would do some kind of strengthening repair but now they won't touch them.

Grimsby? Llllllllllllllllllluxury. We can only afford to park the BC caravan in a derilict industrial estate car park, on the outskirts of Barnsley at best.

My experience is at odds with my aspirations. Would love for pickups to be more than they actually are. But I've tried so many over the years (expensive and cheap) and there's not a lot of difference. They're a fairly crude way to manage tone and character still comes down to the instrument and how you play it. I'd really like to try a set of Lollar jazz pickups though, all the same.

Foal's L2 is a little fuller and mellow in the highs than my XL25 but the differences are not significant enough to make a difference to a live gig. I would agree with the initial posts about the differences between the streamliner and an XL2 but to argue one is better than the other is futile.
