I did a gig with Cliff Bennet headlining (kings hall, herne bay in the 70's) - he turned up with something called 'Toe Fat' (bad start) & they were doing shite like 10+ minute versions of 'Come Away Melinda' I pulled them off early from both sets before the audience turned ugly (which for Herne Bay wouldn't have been novel).........Cliff complained to the Management, only to be told that it was my decision to make - not a happy bunny...... 😎

I had a Crown Drivecore 2000 for a few years, only shifted it on because I was going back to Ormat kit. 😎

If you're using pedals, why not look at a Crown/Amcron class D ? - Light, potent & reliable, gotta be worth a look 😎

I'm not suggesting anything - merely stating that money 'earned in this way often has unpleasant side effects, some prostitution mob that got sent down recently were using cattle prods & tasers on the girls to 'encourage' them to work- I don't find that acceptable, ymmv.............. 😎

The side issue (which no-one wants to consider) is where any 'profit' from this stuff ends up. Leaving aside the HMRC interest, a lot of online money funds drugs, prostitution, terrorist activity and all sorts of other stuff that you wouldn't think was ok. ....just sayin'....... 😎

I used to be in the gaming machine business - this is illegal, end of - Facebook is stuffed with this stuff and the 'operators' never seem to get pulled - maybe it's too much like hard work for the Authorities? 😎

Plug in away from the main hall - kitchen cooker outlets are great, usually 15a rating...........I stopped doing gigs at places that I couldn't get round these show killers many years before I retired. 😎
