1. I've had this for about 2 weeks but now I've sold the Delta Amp I have no use for it. I bought it off of ebay for £39 and now I'm selling it for a bargain £25 + p&p if you're not local. Excellent condition with only a slight scratch at one end. Will go and take some pics now. Edit: Here's the original listing http://www.ebay.co.u...=1#ht_500wt_951
 2.
Thanks, bit too much of a lump for me to cart around, good luck with the sale.
Er yeah - cheers for that! Bump for offers :-)
 3. Yes, I understand the transposition theory but I'm sure Mr Wonder can write in any key and transpose it for any instrument he likes.... Eb minor pentatonic is the 5 black keys on a keyboard. I can't think of too many other artists who use this key so much.
 4. I thought it was because Eb is an easy key to play in for keyboards.
 5.
Well, you do don`t you? If not you must be the only bloody one here! I`ve been finding I actually prefer tuning down to Eflat for a lot of songs, makes life easier in many respects, but you do need two basses.
Any Stevie Wonder song for a start!
 6.
I think you could do with a new logo as 'ogilnibo makes no sense to me..
Only people with true metal eyes can read it...
 7. I'll PM yer Wayne.
 8. Not a snifter? I thought this might be a good deal for someone as the 212's are £130-odd quid more expensive new.....
 9.
My guitarist once forgot to bring my bass to a gig. I was not impressed. He reckoned it wasn't his fault.
It's your bass.....
 10. Here are the specs - and a big thanks to John Roberts at Carlsbro uk who emailed them to me in a matter of hours - top chap! Weight - 41.3kg Height - 540mm Width - 560mm Depth - 405mm It's 300wRMS @ 4Ω, 190wRMS @ 8Ω. best bet though is to come and try it! I don't massively fancy shipping it but I will if that's how it goes. Thanks! EDIT: Just checked with interparcel and shipping will be £36 inc. VAT and Insurance.
 11. +1 for Steve Carmen - he's a legend!
 12. I did have an e-manual, annoyingly it's gone awol from my hard drive and I can't find another. As mentioned above, it HEAVY, about yay big and it's 4ohm output I think. will confirm at some point, but prob not too quickly as I'm quite enjoying using the head with my Rs212 at the moment!
 13.
The only thing that would make that P Bass any more boring would be a 'Keep Music Live' sticker. ......and Coldplay/Keane/Snow Patrol playing it
14.
They may have been bottle-necks. But some are certainly made from the necks of bottles. Beer bottles are good. Tie a bit of string round the base of the neck. Set fire to it. Allow to cool. Knock gently and away it comes. It's an old hobo trick I learned when I was riding the rods in '31.
Can you sit down yet?
 15.
I bought one of these 2x10's from Mike a few months back and have been very pleased with it. If this is still here in a 2 weeks (i.e two gigs) time I'll look to replace my 1x12 with this instead.
Oo get a RS212 Instead (from me) and I'll buy this! Edit: I may be being massively rude here, if I am just say and I'll delete with apologies.
 16.
All the horn players I know would do that in a day.. they have to read it not memories it. The only issues is when the parts are wrong
Don't you think seeing a funk band where some of the players are reading looks a bit Sh*t? I do.
 17.
Sometimes, and I get this might be a bit of a radical notion, stuff happens unexpectedly! Also, there are a lot of things that are ongoing and can't just be put aside (like having kids, for example). As for the "preciousness" of time when you actually have enough free time anyway to do things like being in a band: First World Problems, innit? I'm not saying people should just be allowed to flake out whenever they want, but that people should consider the reasons why they did before bitching about it, 'kay?
Yeah I have time to be in a band, but why should I use my time to learn the parts when others in the band can't be arsed? If they've got more important stuff to do, fair enough but stop wasting my time in my band!
 18. On a related subject - is 3 months long enough for a horn section long enough to learn a set with reading the parts? Or am I being harsh?
 19.
Yeah. Does the person who didn't learn the tunes have children? Or a job that necessitates working lots of overtime? Or a sick relative? Or a sleep disorder? Or any number of other possible factors? Sometimes when someone says they didn't have time to do something they actually didn't... don't assume they're just being lazy unless you have good reason to.
Yes but when they've told you the week before that they will learn them..... My time is precious too but if I've said I'll learn something for the band I'll move/put aside other commitments to do ot OR just say "can't this week sorry I'm super busy/on holiday/going to Jupiter to collect ice samples or whatever.
 20.
(Warning: a tad of sarcasm may have crept in to this post. Apologies to those not targeted...) Surely not a touch of jealousy here..? I shoulda learned to play the guitar I shoulda learned to play them drums Look at that mama, she got it stickin' in the camera Man we could have some And he's up there, what's that? Hawaiian noises? Bangin' on the bongoes like a chimpanzee That ain't workin' that's the way you do it Get your money for nothin' get your chicks for free Most..? Don't really know, but I have met a fair number of percussionists that play a mean 4-hammer vibrophone. Yes, I suppose some drummers aren't musicians. Not like them bass fellers; now there's symphonic harmony for you. Such erudition.Makes me wish I'd gone to school, instead of clouting these bits of wood together. Oh, well...
This drummer's on the wrong forum!
 21.
I'll be able to give you an opinion on this next week... I own an LMII and its been my main gigging amp for about 2 years... great head, tons of poke etc... however i got bitten by the TC bug and I have just aquired an RS210 and RS112 (thanks Smash)... I also bought an RH450 head last week on TB, got a great deal... so I'll be trying the TC cabs with both heads on a couple of gigs... I'll let you know how I get on..
Did you get the head from America? What charges did you have to pay? and thanks!
