Metal project looking for a talented bassist. -Management & Booking Agent working on our behalf -Currently recording material for debut album, after an amazingly well received first EP -International touring confirmed for early next year supporting recording artist with 25+ year career -Supports with International Touring Metal acts also confirmed for later in the year -We have already played Download/Bloodstock/Hammerfest, many more festivals appearances in the works for next year Requirements: -Age: 23+ -Drive, enthusiasm & a highly motivated work ethic -Pick playing only, finger-style playing does not work for what we do. -Compositional skills (Full writing a bonus, but bass composition as a minimum) -Ability to record demo bass ideas. -Understanding of image as a saleable quality -Equipment of a decent standard -Full-time employment at this point (It costs money to be in a developing band) -No Criminal Record (Makes crossing borders a bitch) -Availability to rehearse for 12hrs+ every other weekend Bonus qualities: -Ability to drive would help share the load on live dates We need a bassist to drive the low end of the band, understand the role of the bass in controlling the melodic base of a song and to work with the drummer to create a solid wall of sound. Cliff Burton/Steve Harris fretboard gymnasts need not apply.
