I don't really like the version with Mr "X" on it. Stuart Zender's bassline grooves perfectly.

SR1600 is amazing! Seriously good bass! I have played that exact one and would have purchased it but I decided on 5 strings this time.... so I purchased its 5 string brother the 1205

I have used the site for selling gear in the past but won't be doing in the future due to the fee.

I have an acoustic bass that I use all the time. Perfect for practicing at home, or in the garden, or taking down to the park. Strung with flats they sound great!

I play the ibanez, but I'm not a shredder! I mainly play Funk / RnB / Jazz / Hip Hop sort of things and it sounds lovely! I reckon it would be good for any style though

You're making it sound like the Ibanez has a crap tone, and I can assure you it doesn't! It sounds awesome! especially with those Nordstrand pickups in there. I vote Ibanez!

i have 5 at the moment. They all do different things... they sound, look and play different to each other. It's nice to have options. I have :- Classic Jazz (pasive) Precision (passive) Modern Jazz (active / passive) Dual Humbucker (active) Electro Acoustic Bass. Could do with a fretless, an EUB and a DB so I have all bases (basses) covered (But even then will still probably want more!)

Do you know if any of them do part time or evening courses?

I purchased a SR1205 this week and it's absoultely stunning! I honestly don't see any way it could be improved.... fit, finish, tone, everything.... awesome!

Are you playing original tunes or covers? If it's original music, I suggest trying to make / record something yourself using Logic or another DAW. I'm in the process of doing this now.
