1. Ill probably regret selling this. Up for sale because i want a cleaner sounding amp. This does dirt + more dirt, so itll be great for rock and metal. Basically its a sansamp and paradriver attatched to a poweramp, each pre has its own controls and with the mix function you can use both together for another new sound. Heres the official page: http://www.tech21nyc.com/products/amps/bass/landmark300.html Apart from Cetera who has the 600w version, i havnt seen many of these around. This is 300w into 4ohms. Obviously the sale is only for the head + footswitch, ill even throw in a cable for it (oh and the kettle lead aswell ), no rack ect. Its in great nick, only issue is the 2nd channels 'drive' pot is abit scratchy, but i leave this set and use the 'level' to adjust volume. Im after what i paid for it SOLD VIA FEEBAY Thanks! Shaun.
 2.
Above advice is sound I would recommend making sure that you have a good quality soldering iron. I favour the gas type made by Portosol, that have the interchangable tips. Also make sure that you are using good quality pre fluxed solder. £5 worth of iron + solder from the pound shop won't cut it!! Allow iron to heat up properly. "Tin" the end of the iron with fresh solder. You then need to tin the end of the wire, and the terminal on the pot. For tinning terminals I would recommend placing the iron under the terminal, and then tin the other side, by allowing the heat to travel through the terminal. Don't take too long and melt the pot though! With all parts properly tinned, again place the iron under the terminal, place the wire on top of the terminal, and watch for the solder to melt on the terminal and the wire. Should have a good joint then. For fine work like guitar pots, I would recommend using a small soldering tip. Not a screw driver type that you get on cheap electric irons When you are happy with your solder joint, I would also recommend a small length of heat shrink over the joint. Not only for insulation, but it helps prevent the wire breaking below the solder joint. Hope this helps, and makes sense.
That one post should be stickied Thanks alot mate
 3. Myke sold me a set of Status groundwounds, they were posted straight away and arrived safe and sound. Thanks Myke!

 5.
the bodies of pots are usually lacquered iirc, so the first thing you should do is to cut through that to get to the bare metal - a small file or piece of emery paper should do the trick
Done that did the trick on one, but the other still comes unstuck. I did wipe clean the back after sanding it. Doesnt help that the SD wiring guide looks backward..... also im s*** at this wiring malarky.
 6. Gaf sold me his loop pedal. Arrived well packed and works a treat. Great guy too! Thanks.

 15.
I need a bigger board as well. How's the MXR bass fuzz?
Ill be making another soon, something lighter and more rectangular. I like it (so much that i sold it and bought it back), but theres many who dont. Its a modern sounding fuzz, abit harsh while the LBM is a smooth fuzz.

 19.
I agree with umph. If the PCB is totally destroyed resurrection is almost impossible but if it is just comatose a good doctor should be able to bring it back fully functional If you just ruined some tracks it not the end of the world. It can be fixed. If you send me the unit I can fix it for you and post some picture before, during and after the cure. Other DIYers might find interesting see how it can be done. All the best, Max [sfx]
Cheers Max. Yes it was one of the tracks. If you could PM me your addess please, id like to take you up on the offer.
