I for one am looking forward to hearing the final mixed version, while watching it on my TV with a bottle next to me, and my feet up. Middle age is fast approaching, and rock and roll is dead.
Nah, rock n roll is all about doing what you want and not compromising for anyone. So, you don't want to go out and be herded like cattle? Dude, you rock!!

The Cure - The Caterpillar: http://youtu.be/nzxJ5YvYfx4 Love it when that happens. Opens the floodgates of memory to times forgotten in this crazy busy day-to-day we have now. Same thing happened to me when I heard The Caterpillar by The Cure recently.

Wow! Congratulations to all the contributing artists. Amazing music there. Enjoyed it all and it gets harder every month to choose I must say.
no matter the music genre, there are good and bad music vids, live or other. some taken by a crap phone camera, or by pro cameras and sound equipment. anyways this has got be a favourite of mine. Raphael Saddiq is great, and the singer at 7.45 is off the wall good. its only from my own musical perspective of course, but i like to post music that i reckon is great, and if I'm going post my sh*t i want it to be in the best possible quality.!!!! anyways. here is some great stuff. https://www.youtube....h?v=xDsHJW5E1zk whats your favourite quality music vid.
PS. Seen this a few times before. It is totally badass on so many levels. Great choice! -

The Doors - Ghost Song. Recorded by the remaining Doors using Jim's poetry as vocals. Bob Glaub serving up some lovely P bass goodness too...(he's not in the vid itself, just on the track - which is ace) The Doors - Ghost Song (Music Video): http://youtu.be/Y3Ja7wDuY9o -

A "they're most excellent and although it might seem a lot, they're brand new, cheaper priced than new chrome Hipshot Ultralites which these Gotohs are superior than and will look much better on your bass while remaining cheaper than anywhere else in this country that might stock them. If you can find them." kind of bump.

Sims Custom Shop celluloid tort Precision pickguard. It's a straight fit on vintage spec Fender P's, which I had on a Sims '64 CNC clone body. Comes fully wired up and ready to use in vintage cloth wire, 250k CTS pots, Dimarzio jack socket, Audiophile quality (just because ) AMPOHM 0.047uf paper in wax capacitor and Fender USA vintage spec flat-top heavy knurled brass barrel knobs. Nice! Very little use, part of a project that didn't really come to fruition so I'm parting it all out. 60 Quid's in the Cardiff area or an extra fiver if you want me to post it. Cheers. PS.. The pickguard alone cost £80 from Sims, it has the trussrod notch and comes with the correct screws too.
Thanks so much guys, you are all very kind x I'm not going to join another band for the sake of it though, I'm in two other superb outfits that give me joy, but they don't gig much and there's not much recording to be done. I think I'll see how I feel in a month or two, at the moment I just want to chill. Finding a band with a great vocalist and songwriter who is also motivated, reliable and organised ain't going to be particularly easy
Great to hear you've still got a couple of things going to keep you happy Nige (where do you find the time man?! Haha). You never know though, every change brings new opportunity. Keep your ears down to the jungle drums and listen out for some tasty auditions. They do happen. The best thing about being a decent bassist is walking into a good situation and making it great. Plus you've got the personality to make any band fun mate Best of luck man.

Bought an Italia Rimini off Mark and although the initial deal was put on hold due to unforseen circumstances my end. We worked something out and he held it for me while refusing to take a deposit (3 cheers for Basschat trust! Hurrah!!!) It arrived today and boy was it packed well! It's exactly as described and Mark was even good enough to swap the pickups back to their original position for me. Top man and, as already has been said, a true credit to Basschat. Many thanks Mark, been a pleasure. Simon.

After 8 years of searching....... (Yamaha 2024MX content)

I actually really like the laminate stripes through the headstock. Reminds me of a Rickenbacker in a way, funnily enough. That bass is a beauty and Nige is right, they do really look good in white and I'm not usually too into white basses.
